Just wait for the *swear word* server to come up before applying any updates.. seriously anyone who has played this game for more than a week knows not to prematurely update their game.

If you totally cannot wait for it, go for a walk, come back in an hour or 2, watch TV, play a different game, polish your musket or whatever you do to pass time =p
