if i've got a carrier in a c1 WH, and i find a WH to a C5, can i fly the carrier out of the c1 into the c5? or is it stuck there no matter what?

On the rare occasion that that happens, yes...you can get the carrier out. There are also rare lowsec/nullsec wormholes that can pop up in a c1 that you can escape from as well.

I'm pretty sure you cannot ever get it out. WH links go with the Smallest WH sizes mass limitations. So even a C5/C1 still uses the C1's mass limitations. I would bounce it off the WH forums, but I'm pretty sure this is correct.

This is correct. The prior response was not. Wormholes inherit the lower mass limitation of their two ends.

any wh tht links into a c1, be it c6 > c1 or c5 etc etc, all will have c1 mass in accordance with a c1 outbound, so any k162 or outbound lowsec/nullsec will be the usual low mass limit.

How come people answer things incorrectly when they obviously do not have first hand info about it? Thank you for trying to be helpful, I guess. Roll

Not trolling but why do you have a carrier in a C1?

if you have it stuck in there and you still own the Wh why not try selling the whole setup with the carrier in it on the forums ? maybe less loss this way if that is the case ......

there's a variety of reasons, but suffice to say that a carrier in a c1 (where enemies can't bring much in terms of fighting power) makes both bashing enemy ninja POSes and defending against enemy POS bashers and invaders MUCH easier.

it's not necessarily stuck, i just didn't remember if they were extractable or not.

If it is possible to reprocess ships in reprocessing arrays, you could turn it into its component parts and ferry it out.

I passed through a C1 about 6 months ago, and on dscan I saw, if I remember correctly, 6 carriers, 3 dreads, and about a dozen battleships, along with several live towers. It was either one VERY paranoid corporation or there was a serious arms race going on. ShockedBig smile And yes, I am 100% sure it was a C1.
