Nice to see all the work.... If I can make a suggestion.... (for me is it to late... I will stay with the neglish clientLol)


Back in 2009; I had just play the german client... and I know it had some problems (like differnet names for the samething, like tracking, which got better what I have heard... ..



Just one point. It would be:

Is it possible to give the market a option in which language you like to have it... I found it in the past annoying always to re-think... that Interceptors are abfangjäger etc.... For example: When you visit a web-site like the eve-wiki or the evelopedia... you have the english categorys... and in the client you have the german categorys.. which are different... because A, like Abfangjäger comes first.... and the english ones is it more in the center.... (P.S. for ships is it less a problem... as for models... like Hull & Amror.. Panzerung... I had always the re-think... until I said F*** it. So I think it would be a nice feature to have (maybe a small bottom... like the "show just available"...

I have a bit of a bug, or whatever.

Two of my friends recently joined EVE. Searching for their newly created characters yielded no results. I can see them in space but whenever the search functions is needed (finding them in the first place, sending them a contract) I just can't find them. This first happened on Sunday afternoon and it still doesn't work.

I'll file a proper bug report :)

with the removal of the "corp ticker" option/choice in People and Places.

For example;

I typed in AHARM in the search box, selected "Any" and it returned some character names.

Then selected "Corporation" option, and 0 results were returned.

With the (now old) Corp Ticker option, it would have returned the corporation Aperture Harmonics.

Is there a chance of putting that choice back in?

Agreed. Please reinstate searching for corp tickers and alliance short names. If you remember them it makes the search much quicker.

Nice work with this search.

But could you change the sorting of results?
Especially in creating a contract for a private person. If the Exact name of that person is part of the name of others which start with a letter in lower alphabet you need to scroll just to identify the person you have EXACTLY matched.

Example:
you looking for "something"
and instead of the player named "something" you get a list which starts with the player "A something" followed by "another something" until you finally find something near the bottom of the list.

In general alphabetic order is good since it is a clear pattern but a exact match should appear on the top of the list.
