Moving out to null sec was a good thing for me. I can rat in the belts where the npc BS's are at a 1.5 mill isk bounty. I can solo the Angel Hubs in my tengu, and I've done Angel Havens in my tengu with logi support and two other dps ships.
The fleet action is the fast and furious kind, sometimes someone gets blown up, mostly its a game of scout and find til a fleet warp in can happen. good fun, Im working on my scanning skills now so I can probe out nuets when they come in system and then move from spot to spot evading our fleet.
Getting through the borders of high or low sec is the actually difficult part. The rest of the time you pretty much know where its safe to go and where its not. the rest of the time watch local, take evasive action when called for.
Its definitely better then high sec. When I scan down a radar site, its full of blueprints and parts and decryptors and skill books. The rats protecting it, like to spawn as you are opening the container, so I do these sites in a tengu with a codebreaker module fitted. There are some good sites out there.
I can find most of the modules I need right in system. We have lots of corp members producing T2 modules.

Seeking advice here for this is pretty bad idea imo.

All these big alliance scrubs that just blob and gatecamp have no idea what "real" 0.0 is like, all they do is sit snugg with their intel channels and dock when a hostile comes in or form up a kitchen sink gang and try to gank the hostiles.

These are the people in here that are replying to your post.

I have been solo roaming nullsec for years and I can assure you at first it is not a cake walk, you are vulnerable and weak compared to what the blob has.

The best thing to do is, ignore all these idiots. Grab a ship you like to fly and can afford. Check the map for all major entry systems, P3, m-o, BWF, LXQ are all good ones and not far from jita and check Dotlan for ship/pod kills last hour, check in-game map for average pilots in space and find one that is relatively dead.

Take your ship of choice, if you can afford a to replace 50 drakes...fly a drake, find a good fit and learn how to use it. Head to the nullsec and have a look around. Remain calm regardless of what happens and if you die, rub it off, go get a new ship and try somewhere else or go back.

The most important thing is to remain calm, learn about other ships capabilities as you fail and succeed, never let a death put you off.

If you are wanting to learn a little bit of solo its always best to just dive in and learn yourself, no one can teach you how to pvp because most of the eve community are a bunch of blobbers that cant pilot a freighter never mind anything with an mwd.
