CCP Hates the Curse

For years now, the Curse has been repeatedly abused by CCP. The Nano and Nos nerf obviously came about as a result of it's superiority, and CCP's cowardliness caused them to remove it's godly status so that other ships could have a chance to compete on the field of battle.

As unfortunate as those changes were, they do not compare in any way now to the damage it is soon to receive. Note, for example, the "old-school" Curse. Without a doubt, the most impressive ship model EVE has seen. For some reason, CCP saw fit to remove it's defining feature, that beautiful central thruster.

Still a good looking model, but definitely paling in comparison to the original Curse.

However, the Curse is now suffering an untold injustice. CCP, in their infinite wisdom, decided to remove it's remaining uniqueness, down to the unobtrusive antennas mounted on it's upper surface.

Why does CCP harbor such animosity to such a beautiful ship? When will CCP recognize the error of their ways and give the Curse the treatment it deserves? I await your answer, CCPbros.

It remains one of the best solo ships in EVE (if not the best), and still has a place in fleets.

Why the hell would you complain? Do you require an i-win button?

Oh, and it looks better now.

Honestly when I saw the Cruse on SiSi, I couldn't believe how royal it looked. It looks like something an evil rich ammar baastard would fly now.

All of the Kandin ships do.

Now if you were complaining about the guardian losing it's red, that might have some weight to it.

But new cruse looks like a truly evil and rich person would fly.

apon further investigation, both screenshots in the OP of the trinity curse are the same. The only difference is he took a screenshot in a Gallente station, so the green light is tinting the whole thing.

The curse is a monster. There are very few ships that could fight it solo


I saw a curse pilot Neut out a Tengu and then it died in exactly 13.2 seconds which is exactly three volleys of my pulse fit nightmare. Try that without the Neuting

It can fight at range and if the fight is going against it then it can get the hell out of dodge.

And its one of the best looking ships in the game.

If you want to clear lowsec local jump in with one of those. No one is interested.

There is a sinister wind blowing over CCP's art department that is causing the art devs to kill unique models for T2 ships and try to stamp out any asymmetry they can find.

I don't like it at all.

The last change is rather poor imo. Actually looked much better with the Antennae in there. Now it's sort of squarish, flat, and odd looking. Needs something to disrupt that. Not sure about the 1st change as I can't really see it in the recent pics and I can't recall noticing it. If it's the same as an Arbi now, then yeah, that central thruster was better, but not so disruptive as this recent loss.

edit: nvm, it looks better in Mothermoons pics. far to flat in the other, and I couldn't see the drone bay or detail very well. HDR and better rendering makes it look good.

edit2: actually, I can't even recall what an arbi looks like anymore, but I don't recall seeing that central thruster in the first pic.
