Interesting guide and something I am interested in trying. Don't get the fit in the OP, though. Is there an armor rep mod missing?

Yep. A Single Tech 2 Medium Armour Repper is missing from that fit.
You can pimp the repper if you want, but you don't need to.

Note: Don't try that fit into the DED 5/10 for any faction, it WILL die painfully, due to multiple webbing
towers negating your speed tank.

I don't always post on the forums, but when I do, I prefer posting with my main.

5/10s are painful for single rep ishtar, yes, but you can make it. burn away upon landing, release sentries and kill the web towers fast (the fact that the rooms auto-aggro helps). once you got the towers down and are back up to ab-speed things will be much better. It should also be noted that there are no scrammers in those complexes, so you can warp out if your tank fails ... might not wanna use sentries then tho :)

some moderate bling and implants to up the repping power helps there - as does a buddy/2nd account that shoots the web towers.

Bump for a great thread.

Apparently not many people actually doing it though, as the only person I've seen ninja plexing in the last month has been a guy dual boxing Proteii, who as far as I can tell has both of them stealth fitted and only ninjas his own escalations. This includes the regions of Deklein, Fade, and Pure Blind. Perhaps it is happening elsewhere.

We've opened to other nice, abandoned regions lately as well, but I've yet to find any good plexes (perhaps because our null holes are mostly K162s some explorer found), so I've resorted to Sanctuming like a boss in my evolved NEUTRON Ishtar:

With my (currently scrub) armor link alt, cap usage is minimal and I only use 1-2 booster charges per Sanctum. (EDIT: Links are not needed for Serp Sanctums, I just had to overheat the tank for a few cycles when a new spawned at close range.) Same fit with links pushed through a lowsec Serpentis Minor Annex as well.

A great guide. For any minmatars out there i hear the panther works.

For anyone who's head just exploded at that statement think about it. Get your alt to covert cyno into a quiet system, Jump portal a blockade runner and your black ops too that system. Run sites and fly the alt (in a cov ops) back to lowsec near high. Once the sites are cleared in your black ops get the loot in the blockade runner, once the blockade runner is fuel jump portal it back too low sec (if you lose a blockade runner in lowsec then you should try another game).

The only downsides are the price of the black ops (about 700m atm) and the reletive ease it is too scan down compared to a HAC. If you want a more conventional method a Sleipnir works up to 10/10 (expensive fit) but you will need a scout too get it out there.

I havnt actually tried this myself yet but i hear from a good friend of mine that it works.

hey mate i am looking at your fit and can't figure out how you tank - can't see any Armour rep? Is it buffer tank?
understood that CPR is cap power relay...

I have a question though.. Should the blasters be M or S? I guess Mediums dash out more DPS while Small provide better tracking to kill frigs - so which ones should i fit?

Also saw reference to a dualrep Ishtar, so I guess you can only fit Small guns on it and lose DPS and also would need a cap booster to stay stable when you have to run both?

Can someone link that fit please?

Those are mediums on that fit. They have more range and dps, Ishtar receives a bonus to medium hybrid damage.

Correct, smalls would probably be more effective against frigs, allowing you to keep sentries deployed and pop frigs with guns. I favor the gank approach and fit med Neutrons to kill battleships faster- personal preference, try both and see what you like :)

Yes, dual reps would mean a cap booster and downgrading guns on a mostly T2 fit, or at best med electrons. I haven't flown dual rep, and won't post an untested fit.

Given the changes in inferno, in particular the low slot drone damage mod, any thoughts on changing the fit or are all the low slots needed for tank?

Shield tank with 3 drone damage mods????????!!!!
