Also, your monkey argument would be irrelevant here, as I'm sure that they all got left back on Earth to die.

Oh, and one more thing, opening up on someone without reason is helping them. It is helping them learn that you can't trust everyone, that no one will hold your hand, that you have to be self-sufficient to survive, that you have to adapt and overcome, and that only the strong survive.

With all of this in mind, there are other factors to take into account. What prompts these attacks? It can either be for sport, which it is in many cases, or it can be for profit (the loss of a destroyer or two compared to the gains from looting and salvaging the wreckage of an Exhumer AND the destroyers lost in a suicide gank is a decent profit). By nature, mankind is always looking for something, be it the next adrenaline high, the next big score, or just the thrill of the hunt. It goes along with the whole Freudian concept of id, the primeval drive of mankind to be self-serving and survival minded.

Adapt to survive, or continue being preyed upon.

The hunter or the hunted, your call mate.

I love it when someone spends all day on a reply and ends it with some coined phrase like they are the man or something.

Let me help you out some here. Your goals and ambitions are pointless. You need to grow up before you can hope to achieve anything in this game. Seen many pirates so far and all were extremely fail and worthless. So run off now and join the other worthless people patting each other on the back talking about who has the better "Yarr".

Pathetic, truly sad pathetic people you are.
Being evil and getting away with it is what some people love to play in the game. It doesn't make anybody pathetic, but wanting somebody to play the game "your way is the only way" is pretty pathetic. You maybe too blind to see their goals because they are too evil for you to comprehend.

Some people hope to become pirate lords in otherwords, they are good at killing and or ransoming real people in game, you are good at killing npc's so not much you are doing will be game changing to somebody. Wile a pirate has the power to change a persons perspective leading to the events before their death.

Pvp is the life blood of the game, without it there would be no market. Same as if people didn't pve but you must realize that everything you do effects everybody in the game unless you are one who avoids combat all together and wants to be alone. These kind of people are game breaking because they only care about themselves. These people are true carebears.

When I blow up somebodies ship, I stimulate the market, I make people buy new ships or build them, I help eve by doing them a favor sometimes when I come across ships so horribly fit they hurt my eyes. Point is no matter what you do your actions effect the universe unless your a carebear of course.

Some people are just so good at killing that it is their way of life. So if you can't stomach evil then your in the wrong game. In eve you can do or be whatever you want. Even if its a lowlife criminal or a pirate lord of a empire of evil. In eve it happens. Look at "Negative -10" one of the most top ranked alliances in the game is a pirate empire. They have fame, they are rich, they are powerful. You don't have to be good in the game to be rewarded because unlike most games it is realistic. There is good and evil, the choices you make can make you rich and powerful. Or they die horribly trying. Those who have like the big gangsters in history like crime lords in the mafia died rich and famous and won in their way of life.

Most people can be like that in eve only we are immortal. We are immune to the law. So we can be whatever we want and get away with it. Its really that simple. But your wrong about the fact that pirates are just skum bags who can't make isk and fail in some way at eve. It is possible to make billions in pvp and be so good at it that it becomes scary. Over nearly a year of being a full pirate I can tell you that I have never been more rich in eve.

I take a lot more risks and have fun doing it. It really gets your heart going at times but you prob never experienced the rush of pvp. All your goal is, is to make your wallet fatter with no real place to apply it but only for your personal gain. I maybe only one person but my actions stimulate the market, I even market trade, and build stuff now and then to sell on the market to help it.

If you want to be alone and only kill npc's your not doing much for eve. Thats what a carebear is. A pretty sad kind of person who offers nothing to eve. Your actions don't make a difference. People who mostly trade, build, and pvp make a huge impact in eve as long as it is targeted to help the universe. Your more of a burden to eve if your cause and goals are selfish that don't impact the community in a positive way. Pvp is a isk sink and keeps the market in demand. Keeping everything to yourself and never losing or blowing up a real player is pretty selfish. Never losing on the market or putting any risk into making something is pretty selfish. Keeping all to yourself is pretty selfish and does not help the universe. Its really that simple that what it comes down to is this. The carebear way is hazardous to eves health because it does not make a difference. Anybody who pvp's greatly helps eve and makes a difference.

I'll say it again, if you can't stomach this fact then eve is not for you. WoW maybe more your game. Roll

I was thinking more along the lines of Hello Kitty Online long with Drake Draconis.

If you actually do a little research into the game.

"Non-consensual Player-versus-player combat is an intended feature." And before you try to come back with something about how all PvP is wrong, immoral or unethical, that quote... it came from one of the Devs. So STFU and go pod yourself.

Hi,

If you're going to troll, at least put some effort into it. Replies of "owned" and "lawl" don't really carry much weight unless you at least try to actually "own" someone.

Thanks

Now I know where Drake Draconis has been taking trolling lessons from.

Regardless, Sofia, if you don't like the fact that you're getting shot at, just don't undock. It solves a lot of problems. But I'm sure your student probably taught you that lesson already.

Let it go. Hold on to this, crying those bitter nerd rage tears will only make things worse when your owned on the forums and in the game. Pretty sure you must be one of the pirates that tried to shoot me and I wasted them all over the galaxy and now they are emo about it.

Just let it go...

it makes such a mess and gives us industrialists a bad name.

Oh wait, this is C&P, keep on yarring, and apply a generous amount of darwinissm on these smucks!

I never read what you say because the impressive norks on the left distract me.

Also, OP, YARRRR.

Did I do it wrong?

What's more "pathetic" OP, engaging in PVP in a PVP game, or coming onto the forums with an alt, and claiming you "owned" all the "pirates" and now they're all "crying"? Without anything to show for it other than the occasional "lawl" thrown in.

Weak troll, tbh.

EDIT: I just read your previous posts. Dear ******* lord, get a life dude! You've seriously got nothing better to do than come on the forum and imagine you're making people mad?

Pitiable.

Sofia Bellard if I wasn't such a lazy, fat, successful pirate I would hunt you down and rub my Yarrr all over your bits & pieces, but I'm not going to do that. Mainly because I am so fat & successful from pushing my Yarrr in other peoples faces, but also because I think you are the type that likes your bits and pieces forcefully touched and Jeebus knows I don't need another carebear following me around begging for another taste.

Not a pirate. Just a player-killer.

For your information, OP (not that you'll care or that this will change your view, but because what the hell, Imma feel my postin' on), Eve is designed in such a way that players can inflict their will on you, if you do not take steps to counteract this. Luckily for you, Eve offers many, many ways to counteract this. In fact, there are so many ways to avoid being attacked that really, it's your own fault for not at least attempting to safeguard yourself by fitting, ship choice, watching intelligence channels, and having a bit of experience about the mechanics of gameplay.

As far as the experience goes, well, you'll just have to earn that the hard way. The rest of it, though, is there from day one.

Thus I have no sympathy for your plight. Eve does not hold your hand and keep the bad people away; and CCP willing, it never will. This is a game for grown-ups, dearie, who at least have the self-delusion of being able to take care of themselves. You might want to head back to the kiddy-pool. I hear maybe Chutes-and-Ladders Online is pretty entertaining. When you build up some self-confidence and self-reliance, come on back. We'll be waiting.
