Have barely bothered logging in to this game for the last few months after the dreary hell hole that eve's become since Goons and the NC decided to take over the last CSM, sew up 0.0 warfare and make our beloved Eve into a far less interesting place to be.

However my undergarments will need some serious dry cleanage after I fired up the client this evening and saw that Greg Russo and Riverini are both standing for the CSM. My crewmember immediately stood to attention at the thought of those fine gentlemen finally injecting some life and colour in to this game.

Greg is one of the most inspirational guys that I can think of in Eve - he's the spirit of the game in human form, as far as I'm concerned. He's played the game the full at the highest possible level, without ever falling into the trap of settling down into a great big blob of tedium. I can't think of a better person to represent us all in terms of 0.0 politics, in-game mechanics and balancing risk vs reward.

As for Riverini (aside from his undeniable masculine charm) there are few who understand the mood of the general player base, and the community in its widest sense as well as he does.

Right, after that ass licking I'm off to clean my pants.
