Argument for a 30 day skill que...

So CCP, please extend the skill que to 30 days just to satisfy my whim as we all know I am the most important person in EVE next to Chribba... and a lot sexier to boot.

So CCP Make it so!

I like this idea. I don't know why CCP does not expand the queue. I spent at times months not playing, and simply coming in to update the skill queue. That's just the way it is really. Sometimes I get a streak where I can play for hours a day, usually for a week or two, then it's off to another project, or I move, or the season requires it, and it's "Skill queue Online" for a while.

But that's not a complaint. In fact it's a huge selling point for me. If I could not do this, I would have un-subbed years ago. The one thing that really sticks in my craw about MMOs is that they tend to reward the "he who has the least life (and more time to play) wins" thing. So what happens? PVP time and I am getting smoked by Mr "run the same instance with his guild and gets the Sword of Instant PWNAGE" every two minutes.

No thanks.

CCP already has my money: I pay them for a game I don't have time to play most of the time, but I like being able to progress in capability anyway. Without having to not have a life, and thank God: without having to make hundreds of Copper Bars/Leather belts/Cloaks/whatever to increase my skills. Seriously skilling for a profession in those other MMOs makes me want to jump into a wood chipper.

So if they could up the queue length, even a week, it would totally rock. Like I say: they already got my money, so a long queue is not going to make me stop playing, and having to log in more to keep it going seems pointless.

Why do I get the feeling the OP is just a troll?

Nothing clever at this time.

Greetings capsuleer Tippia,

I have to disagree. Beaches have sand castles and it is known that capsuleers enjoy kicking sand castles down. It may be the best location to find capsuleers!

Meh. At least people can set, say, Carrier V for 60+ days.

OP is FAIL.

Just have your servant bring you a cheap throw-away $500 laptop with a cellular modem so you can log into eve and skillqueue. it takes like 5 seconds.

Either you are poor - and thus worth nothing - or a really bad troll. Either way, you show how much you fail with posts like this.

Reading.

I'm doing it.

Also, I live in Hawaii. The trick is to bring a laptop everywhere you go. Keep it in the car, though. Preferably beneath the seat, due to the large number of thefts.

You will not look like a loser.

No.. it takes a minimum of 45 minutes. First I have to drive back to the house from the Beach.. then I have wait for my computer to boot up, and THEN I can change my skills. After which it takes ANOTHER 45 minutes to drive BACK to the beach. It's totally screwing up my beach time man!

I went to the beach last week. All the women were just walking around in their underwear! I thought this was a brilliant idea so I striped down to my Hanes briefs and jumped in the water. I couldn't understand why everyone stared and laughed when I came out, then I realized: I'd forgotten my suntan lotion! Fair skin like mine needs lots of protection, especially as rarely as I see the sun! As I searched for my Economy Size Banana Boat (why they only sell sunscreen in single-serving bottles, I'll never understand) I finally came to understand the thing about white clothes getting wet. I could clearly see right through my Hanes. How embarassing!

The wind must have blown my clothes away, because I never could find them. The guys I'd left them near sure thought that was funny. They suggested I look on the flag pole, but I know sarcasm when I hear it. People can be mean some times. So I grabbed my beach towel and did my best to cover up with it, but you know how tiny those are. I wish they made really towels that you can actually wrap around you like in the commercials. Sure they'd be the size of bed sheets, but if they're good enough for the actors, why can't we all have them?

Anyway, I got back to the basement that afternoon and decided I'd had enough of the beach. After spending a whole 20 minutes on the sand, I had a nice reddish tan to last me a few weeks. Maybe next week I'll go to the park!
