I don't have much experience in WH's, but I've heard some pretty interesting stories about ghost ships. What's your's?

I was using my ship to do things in my wormhole, then some 30 tengus appear out of no where. I think they were lead by the headless horseman.

Then, one day, we evicted them.. wooooh

They didn't see it coming.

Once there was an ugly ghost ship. He was so ugly that everyone died. The end.

I should buy an Ishtar.

I have a story of the headless capsuler, it all started with a podding many many moons ago, 7 moons to be exact. Well anyway there was my great great great clone (podding happen frequently) and he was in a Kestrel hapilly shooting away baddies. And in comes THE PUNISHER OF DOOM. So what did he do, he locked, scramed, webed, and fired ze missiles! The Punisher was dead, but that was not all, he tasted oil and wanted more, he locked the pod and fired ze missiles once again. Cracked open the pod like a hot knife through butter.

He latter inspected the pod to find a body with no head, and one partially eaten low fat bagel (that bastard, I hate low fat). He thought that was the last of him but he was wrong, hours went by and he had long forgotten the altercation that happened earlier. But than THE PUNISHER OF DOOM reappeared and attacked shouting obscene words at him, and quickly warps off before he could be killed again, it is thought that the lows are filled with WCS or is it? So next time you pod someone rob them of their corpse and throw them in fridge and lock it, or else their head may come back to get you.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

I once found an abandoned Phoenix at the sun in a C3, was only in a scan ship so I didn't have the DPS to pop it =( Couldn't fly it either.

I was stupid in a carrier once. Needless to say I wont be stupid again. Well in that respect as I can't say for sure I won't be stupid in other areas of space......

Oh well you live and learn :)

Funniest thing was Falkwen bombing me to kill the enemies drones but popping mine before them!! Grrr

Hat's off for surviving in your Bomber :)

All in all win or lose it is a game and overall still fun to play since 2003.

Sorry Edit here.

Ghost.. well those 7 DPS with 3 Logi ships ghosting out of no where, popping me and a geddon. I lasted as long as I could but in the end could do nothing.

Haven't seen any ghost ships, but RnK and Aharm opened in to us within 1hour of one another.

Some days your static is just cursed and gives you nothing but C5 -> C4 statics.

Its always fun to think that at any given moment, there is ALWAYS a bigger fish than you ;)

Once a C6 connected to our C5 and whilst scouting out we noticed a POS, w/o shields and several Dreads, BS and other small ships floating around, quickly we grabbed what we could and popped the whole. Ty for the terrible fitted Archon and Revelation and several other ships. The Archon and Revelations are still during C5 Raids, lovely I might say.

Whilst rolling C3's to gank in, a scout noticed a POS dropping their shields with several active ships in it. We scrambled our folks together and started to get some kills. The result: http://ss.dgtnt.net/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=1027

There are a few more stories to be told similar as this...

.EC.. of [TOHA], Industrialists with guns. We're overe there, some where and no where... Contacting go through ingame convo's .EC.. and [TOHA] are recruiting, get in contact with us

Found an abaddon, devoter and mammoth floating at a moon. Ships were fit for hole closing. I guess the pilots of the ships died.

I now fly free ghost ships.

I found some pets of a nullsec alliances moon goo refining operation in a C1 yesterday. 5 of the 6 large towers idle, 1.3B in goo lifted.

An officer fitted archon and 16 BC/BS from another.

During Fuelageddon, we found several offlined POSs.

But best of all was the covetor this week. We were out ganking some numpties and when we jumped back in to our home we noticed a covetor on scan. Aw yeah, bruddas, we said. Some idiot is ninja mining our grav. So we set about combat probing him down, and landed a massive reapfleet to ho' his killmail, and he's already ejected and podded himself to hisec. Turns out he was from some corp who lived in the hole eons ago.

Don't worry, man, your corpse is keeping our corpselocker stocked and your covetor is keeping our carebears amused.

Back in my VERY early scanning / day tripping days, I got myself into an empty C5 or 6, cannot remember. Anyways, I decided I'd give a go at selling it, so I logged for the night after Bookmarking the exit.

Come the next day, no interested buyers, and my patience had run out. So I warped to the bookmark, but the WH had disappeared.

No problem, I thought.

I found a WH that lead to a C5, and poked my head through. It also seemed empty, and tried scanning again, but kept getting Ladar and Radar sites. At this point my friends were getting impatient for my return. I decided to eject from my buzzard, named it "In Honored Glory" (after the Tomb of the Unknowns) and podded myself. Luckily it was T2 fit and I wasn't carrying implants!

I scanned down and entered a wh in my exploration drake. Nothing seemed to be going on so I progressed with the task of making eight or so safe bookmarks. I couldn't be bothered killing sleepers so I just orbited the wh exit at 2 km. While orbiting I noticed a cheetah enter the whole and warp off. Additionally, a Buzzard appeared on dscan. The next thing I know I see twenty plus sisters core scanner probes are on dscan. I thought to myself that more than one person is scanning down sites in the system. In response, I changed the name of my drake from 'diSgaMeisSoESSAY' to 'testmetank'.

Around fifteen minutes passed by until a T3 ship warped to the wh I was orbiting. I stared at thinking about life, the universe, the number forty-two, kittens, etc. Some time passed and I thought this guy and I had a good relationship. You know? Because, well, we weren't shooting at each other. Just hanging about. Sadly, as more time passed (minute), our relationship turned bad. Like domestic dispute. The T3 ship targeted me. I targeted him. Harsh words in a world where no one talks. He webbed and warp disrupted me. I was like Zen. I assumed that all the good times we spent together meant something and he would do anything violent. We were buddies. But no, I was wrong.

My friend in the T3 ship must have engaged his microwarp drive. The speed at which he was charging towards me was quite fast. I thought to myself that this guy was going to ram me. As he came closer I thought along the lines of 'this guy is really going to ram me'. He rammed me. I bounced. My dear drake ended up 10 km away from the wh. This is when I thought 'no more Mr Nice Guy'. I fired my volley of missiles at the guy and launched my drones. Oddly enough, I was did **** all damage. Alas he was speed tanking. I settled for depression. I sighed.

His assumed friends turned up. They rubbed salt in my eyes balls. My dear drake blew up. I warped my pod to 'safe 1'. Then warped to 0 and left the wh a shattered man.

OHH WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME??? Cruel god!

Ohh and I saw a ghost.

Back when w-space was new I failed to fit a probe launcher on my Probe. I left it in the cargo hold...
Back then I was young(-er) and poor(-er) so the cost of that +4's set and other implants did hurt a bit.

I used to leave a Probe with a probe launcher and five core scanner probes at the star of every w-space system I went into. For similarly stupid unfortunate souls.
