We might roll this thread into two meets.

Its been suggested that those of us that can make it on short notice hit the pimppad this friday, and we could look at something else on, say, 15th of june?

Pimppad sounds good. Might want to get in touch with them before hand and book, I have a feeling they probably fill up for overnight gigs pretty quickly on weekends.

Yesterday I went and had a sticky at the Pimp Pad. They've got around 50 PCs and while they don't have Eve installed at the moment they said they're happy to have it ready for us.

Unfortunately their liquor license hasn't been approved yet so NO BOOZE. At least, not on site. Although to be fair that only makes them the same as every other net cafe. The Treasury is a short stroll across Victoria Square & The Metropolitan is just around the corner for boozing purposes.

I agree that booking would be a good idea given that they might get busy on Fridays and because they need to know how many PCs to install Eve on. I noticed there was a "secluded" room with about 5 or 6 PCs set up in it which would be ideal for a group like ours. Would be nice to stake that out in advance.

We need people to X up though so we can get numbers.

I take it that myself, Feint and Subs are in for Friday? Who else? Beat the bushes, gents. Find out who can come and find out soon.

UPDATE!

Current thinking is Friday, June 22nd for a few drinkies and/or din-dins in the city after everyone gets off work then off to Pimp Pad on Franklin Street for an Adelaide d00d Eve LAN w/pew pew and lulz.
