I didn't even think to try ******* retards, I thought for sure that would filtered..

Why bother at all with the filter?


Hmm...I'm not bypassing anything as you can see. Seems farawayking is filtered for me.

What about wanker? wankers? wanking?

Don't know about these forums but a lot of them have a rule about deliberately bypassing filters.

Wanker is hardly profanity, at least in the American use of English.. Much like bullocks or something of that sort..

If you are really in awe of America's profanity filters, just check out most primtime shows and TV Realitty on network television. Words such as:

***** (Female Dog)
Ass (Ya Bum)
**** (Poo)

are heard on shows even in Primtime slots. 8pm-10pm EST

I doubt your average yank would know anything about these let alone use them in proper context.

As CCP senior webdeveloperforumgurumeditationandroid I would love to see a script which instead of *****:ing bad words, would replace the nasty ones with suitable ship names. That would make very interesting conversations and would not, by any means, encourage people for excessive swearing.

Best thing in this epic idea is, that it would give brand new nicknames for all the ships in game.
Who wouldn't want to fly "********" or "***** ******* ******". Unfortunately you will never know what I just said.
