There are only two tragedies in life. One is not getting what one wants, the other is getting it.

Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

All I wanted is for every ship in the game to be replaced with the 3D Head and Shoulders of members of the Canadian Parliament and the Ship Bio's changed into their various political positions. That way I can remember what they look like and stand for without going on Wikipedia.

I do not see how getting what I want would negatively affect EVE Online.

So life is a 100% tragedy at all times for everyone. I guess the comedy comes from pointing and laughing at someone else's life.

So close...

No the point is you should not waste energy and time wanting for things, because once you do get them it won't make you any happier in the end.

Wilde might've been a Buddhist without knowing it.

You people are so defeatist. EVE is nothing without its playerbase.

I see your point, but I believe it is the wanting that facilitates change and it is change that progresses the human race. Without want we would probably have stagnated in the Stone Age. I don't believe people waste time wanting, because every now and then someone does something extraordinary or revolutionary that changes our lives for the better during their personal quest.
