I only started this as a tongue in cheek retort to all the tinfoil threads about how Eve is being killed by Goons, R&K, -A-, Chlamydia, galloping finger rot, the CSM, CCP, Drakes, noobs insert disease/ ingame entity of choice here.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

LolI'm a carebear, I hug hisec like a child hugs their favourite toy. I personally don't want the PVP dynamic of Eve to change, Space is a cold dark harsh enviroment, it's not civilised and the little law enforcement that we have is designed to punish not protect, this is a good thing btw it adds risk.

I see lots of threads whining about hulkageddon, burning tradehubs, ninja salvagers, scammers etc, these are legitimate gameplay options as far as I'm concerned.

Eve is harsh, the gameplay options that people are whining about have been in the game for it's entire life, they make Eve what it is, they make Eve different from pretty much any other title out there. Nobody, other than CCP, would have the bottle to let us do what we do in Eve, or would have even thought to provide the frameworks that let us choose from the whole spectrum of "evil" empires in null to corps dedicated to helping out noobs, sometimes they are one and the same.

Anybody in Eve can rise to the top of the food chain, but you can't do it alone, you need the support of people who are involved in all aspects of Eve, some charisma and good planning will take you far as well

To those that are doom mongering about Eve and gameplay that they don't like, please kindly shut up and take your whining elsewhere, you make those of us that adapt and deal with it look bad, you also feed the trolls (please don't do this, some of them are fat enough already Twisted )

Eve has worked fine as it is for the last 9 years, the PVP dynamic doesn't need to change, if it did change so that hisec became safer I dare say a lot of players would actually leave to be replaced by the instant gratification crowd that leave after a couple of month because Eve=Effort.

Eve has a reputation for being a merciless environment, it's reputed to be a hardcore MMO and yes the learning curve is steep. These are what keeps the oiks out, the game itself filters out those that are unworthy P.

TL;DR

Stop whining, start doing or GTFO

How do you feel abut the CYNO blankie that envelops all Null Sec officers when in low-sec, making them effectively invincible to even 100+ man pirate corps even when all alone in a single capital?

How do you feel about the most anti-PvP mechanic in the game that makes me want to vomit and would make any true PvP player leave Eve immediately?

Cyno jammers can be got around, it requires effort, planning, coordination and above all "balls of steel" but there are these things called gates that allow you to travel pretty much anywhere, the downside is that everyone will know that you're coming and organise a counter attack but that's a risk you have to be willing to take. Nullsec warfare proves that this is the case, alliances beat the living snot out of each other all the time despite cyno jammers.

For a more realistic blankie look at all the trade alts that never ever leave Jita 4-4, now that's a security blanket made of indestructible space pixels.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Cyno jammers don't exist in Low-sec.

Since I was referring to Low-Sec as you can see in my post, what are you talking about?

But Cyno Jammers are also anti-PvP, you are right there.

Yet another cowardly addition for the Null Bear.

DOH, didn't read properly, my bad.

I take it that you're referring to the possibility of getting hotdropped when you try and take on a cap in lowsec. I do believe the faction warfare guys would like a word with you, they managed to take down a PL titan quite recently in Amamake, despite the inevitable hotdrop.

And they lost more ISK than they killed, even though the guy was going full-on tard.

Oh, the unforgiving environment of Eve.

But did they have fun? I would say yes and TBH most people game because it's fun.

Killboard efficiency isn't everything, sure they lost more Isk than they killed but they killed a titan belonging to a much larger organisation which in my eyes is something they should be proud of.

Carebears have money and thus, they pay for accounts, buy plex to make more Isk and form "carebear" groups with others, namely inviting friends to play the game with them.

Everybody else on the other hand, steals money to pay for accounts, destroys haulers full of 90 plex and drive away millions of people from the game, CCP loses money by siding with these..THESE MEANIES!!!!!

Note: They also cause the worlds problems.

I for the life of me can't understand why Plex is being transported in ships to begin with. Why would anyone do something so stupid?

Plex should be transferred from player to player using the contract system. When they buyer arrives to the station where the contract is being held, He/she picks it up and uses it (30 days play time) or sells it on the spot of ISK.

you.....do realize you can use Plex remotely, right? You could be in your Class 6 Wormhole, buy a Plex in Jita, or the ass end of null sec, say, Drone space, via contracts, and activate it right there.

Which is all the more reason why it is stupid to run around with Plex in your cargo hold, isn't it?

As I quoted a former poster, "destroys haulers full of 90 plex and drive away millions of people from the game, CCP loses money."

Why would anyone have 90 Plex in a hualer? If they lose it, that is their own stupidity. If they rage quit and leave, well..... EVE might be better off without them.

I make low simple, if you can not make it in low, you can not USE it in low. Boom done. Can't make caps in HS... can't use them in HS... Cant make supers in low... should not be able to use them in low... Ya killing a SB CPR fit titan really means the game is working right... So you need to lose more than you killed (meaning you could never win a war like that) and that some how = balanced? And as said that ONLY died while being a full tard fit... Supercaps online. YAY... SC and titans should be removed, isk refunded... They were a mistake.

You know, that statement of yours above should not just apply to carebears. Goons tend to be one of the whiniest alliances, as are the "tough hardcore" PVPers looking to dumb down their game by making already weak targets even weaker. So yes, it should apply to them too.

However not even you on St Trolls day, with your electrified trolling machine cranked up high, can deny that Goons certainly are "doing".

That was 70% of characters, not players.
