And the way he does it is by acting as a secure, trustworthy third-party brokerage service. He also hosts and runs a very large number of useful EVE services out of the goodness of his own heart.

Yeah, but this is Eve. IMHO, a Poltergeist movie analogy would be better.

/me imagines Chribba as a cute little blonde hair girl (metaphor for Carebear) trapped inside a TV (metaphor for Eve) by angry spirits (trolls) over their graves being desecrated (metaphor for being poor, jealous of the 1%, and/or bored.)

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

  • EVE Search - Indexing the forum and providing additional search preferences as well as statistics of the forum users.
  • EVE Offline - Monitors the game servers and provides graphs over their usage.
  • EVE Agents - Agent search/filtering tool
  • EVEBoard - Character sheet and API information display


His third party service is nothing more then a business and he has made way more off of being hnest then he could have ever made with a single scam that wrecks his reputation. The reason he is liked for it is that he made a ton of ISK through hard work and when someone does great they tend to be respected for it. That is on top of all the services.

If you don't think he deserves attention tell us what you did better.

WHAT THE **** KIND OF INCONSIDERATE ******* ARE YOU FOR GIVING AWAY A GRAVESTONE?! Who cares what the other guy does with it — why the hell did you give it away if it was that important to you?!

Again, was the purpose of this piece of rock made clear to the recipient or are people just trying to shift the blame for their own idiocy and lack of tact? If it was, why aren't you reneging on the deal and taking the station back? And regardless, the original fuckup is still with the original owner…

I think a decent amount of time has elapsed for the station to be renamed without the need for this kind of forum bleating.

If this is indeed the case, I am terribly sorry. During discussions about the station none of this was ever mentioned to me, and I was very clear in my inquires regarding the naming of the station and the simple response was that I could do whatever I wished.

Had this been brought to my attention I would of course name it in the respect that it deserves, just like I did in 9UY.

I shall put some research into the previous naming of the station and of course pay the tribute that it deserves.

I apologies to anyone that I may have offended when renaming the station.

Chribba was not aware of the significance of the station name. The topic of station name was never discussed. -A- gave Chribba HED-GP station free of any restrictions. We honor Hatuk's memory by our daily actions and our conduct, not just by naming a station after him. Hatuk would be deeply saddened if he would know of the conduct of those who are supposedly speaking for him and his memory, especially if you speak ill of someone like Chribba.

If Chribba wants to continue to use the current station name he may do so. If he wants to revert back to Hatuk's Homestead then we are equally pleased. Any sinister plot you may see is merely a figment of your overly active imagination.

Chribba is Lord Of War, statistics say 1 in every 12 citizens in New Eden owns a weapon. Chribba only has one question - How does he arm the other 11.

I salute Chribba and everything he stands for. He is the only neutral I have ever given a stand down order to my fleet for so that he could pass safely on his way, though I doubt I am the only person who has done so. The man is legendary.
