On day one, of this new CSM, we've had nothing but issues. Now with the latest shenanigans, yet again the CSM have shown their true colors. With the in fighting among the CSM and many with conflicts of interest due to their friendships and former alliances, it is clear the CSM is not looking out for the general populace of the game, and the game itself, and is more interested in their own selfish needs and stirring up **** storm after **** storm. This is not what the CSM was created for.

If you feel as I do. Cast a vote of "no confidence" in the current CSM and ask CCP for new elections. Enough is enough.

My vote. +1 vote of no confidence.

Gonna have to agree with you here.
Current CSM is about ineffectual to date.
Will be interesting to listen to their Everadio about now

Nothing clever at this time.

My guess is that you were one of those that actually thought the CSM was valid and actually the voice of Eve? Google "corrupt Chicago politics". Same diff.

If they are already desolved then their is no longer a need.

Strange how much almost ALL communications from their usual blogging has been non-existent !

Trebor, Seleene, Two Step?

My 4 accounts were split for all 3 of you and it has been REAL silent. Weirdly silent what with what all is going on.

We heard some baseless rabble-rabble by a few people with nothing better to do than make a tale of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

"Issues" of substance, though? None.

I think it means most of us "solved" what the CSM really is/does, and some want us to completely ignore that fact and wallow in the blind ignorance of this metagame called CSM.

You mean advise CCP to implement what they want in the game?

The CSM was suppose to be about helping CCP in the development of the game. Lately it has been about meta game, both in and out of game, and all about certain individuals and corps. The game does not revolve around them. There are thousands of players that try to enjoy this game. With the actions of the latest CSM, since day one, it is clear that they have no interest in anything to do with the game that doesn't involve their own interest.

Why is this a bad thing.

Like every election don't we all just vote for the guy whose interests we agree with.

I'm not sure it's even about their own interests. Somebody's for sure, but whom ?

I personally didn't vote in the last one (four accounts) because I know it's a complete joke.

This is just like the rigged tournament. This CSM doesn't represent the player base. CCP KNOWS how they got elected. They KNOW they don't represent US. THEY KNOW, and they don't CARE. They can be that way all they want. It's their house. However, they have to live with the reputations they derive from it, not us.

PS Not to put too fine a point on it. The word you want is "dissolved."
IF "desolved" is a real word, the CSM is already that.
De-solved.

You won't run or vote but you want to effect how it works...

If more people want it gone then want it then why not nominate and vote only for people who would recommend dissolving it.

This isn't about a corp, the CSM is about the game. By taking this mess in-game and making it part of the meta game that is EVE it can easily be used as a means to influence CCP to make changes that normally wouldn't be made. CSM was never meant to be a political entity within the game. It is turning into one though. And that is a bad thing.

It's about the game and its development. The CSM were suppose to be the players voice and to bring to CCP's attention the issues of the game to help CCP make the game better for "everyone" and not just a select few.

Because they are all drooling idiots at CCP who can't see the difference between the give me an advantage idea's and the make the game fun ones?

They actually addressed this issue in the townhall meeting. They were very candid and straight forth with their answer and I am confident that the CSM is in fact keeping their CSM responsibilites seperate from their in game intities. This is good.

I asked them about this issue in the townhall and they didn't try to dodge or make light of this issue at all. That says a lot about the people on the current CSM.

Confidence restored. Big smile
