If your so upset about it then take the station back and rename it.

Chribba is under no obligations to keep the name the way it was, nor is it really dishonorable to change it considering he probably didn't know the person or why the station was named that way, or cared.

This makes me very sad. I've both defended and assaulted that station. We all love you Chribba, but that was a special place for the South.

Yes, Chribba is a bad man and must be punished. Let's all get together to DoS eve-files.com, eveboard.com, eve-search.com, eve-agents.com, eve-offline.net, eve-agents.com, and the website of the tattoo parlor that did his Veldspar tattoo! Who's with me!?!

The history of the outpost reveals that this is not the first time that it has been renamed.

Rather than whining on the forums, did you think to suggest to Chribba that he incorporate the previous station's name in his "Chribba's Cottage" style? If you look at the last station he held -- prior to it being taken by TEST -- it went from being the UNITY station to Chribbas Cottage UNITY station.

You know, trying to resolve your issues in game rather than bleating on the forums about it?

OP and anyone agreeing with OP are idiots.

Chribba is of the few players of honor still playing.

Otherwise, I read this as someone naming the station, no longer wanting it and hawking it to Chribba else because it was too much of a bother… and somehow Chribba is the one who lacks respect…? Ugh

This is true, but they are both re/named for the same reason.

So... lets see here:
http://evemaps.dotlan.net/outpost/HED-GP

The station has been renamed what, about 30 times now? I don't see all the rage from those attempts.

When Houston International Airport became "George W. Bush International Airport" a thousand kittens died.

That's an old ghost coming BACk to life. Shocked

Actually this all reminds me of the WoW funeral from a few years back. They held it in a contested land in the game (ie in a PVP area). While they were having the ceremony a large group of players showed up and ganked the whole thing.

Yeah, but those were Katrina kittens from New Orleans. So it's not like Bush lost any popularity (or votes.)

Chribba handled 38 trillion ISK in currency and merchandise and not once scammed anyone out of it, and he's the one with no respect?
