So i see titans now selling at over 100 bill - some bidding 130bill for travel fit.

The base for these used tobe like 60 bill not long ago, and they have been nerfed sonce then... So how come they have shot up in price, i just dont get it. If they were rare now and was hard to build fine but they are not.

Yeah Rokhs have only gone up 100 mill I don't get why Titans should be so different

Is there ANYTIME Mal you arent being sarcastic? Sorry i dont play eve to check mineral prices...

plus im sorry but a 40 bill price hike is massive you cant compare that to a 100mill hike to a rokh!

So ok why have mins prices risen so much then?

Take one mass bot banning, two nerfs to gun mining, add a dash of Hulkageddon and voila!

Of course you can, if the mineral cost has nearly doubled. 100 mil plus on the rokh is almost double what it was before. It used to sell for around 120 mil IIRC, and now for 220 mil. Titans (I'm going by your numbers here, I don't bother checking titan prices) were around 60 bil, now around 100-130 bil. Again, double or thereabout. How can these figure be incomparable, given the almost identical rise in cost?

To build the damn thing you need half a moon's worth of materials, not even counting the modules, which are equally massive.

Does it matter?
They are alliance assets, no?
Alliances have unlimited (or near enough) ISK, no?

Now that they are where they should be price wise, it is time to get them to where they should be balance wise Smile

With a decrease in bot mining, there is a shortage of materials. Shortage of materials = more expensive materials. More expensive materials = more expensive ships

On the other hand, with a decrease in RMT isk being bought, that should lower the buying power of people that were using RMT so that should have driven demand down. Lower demand = lower prices

What I think is happening is people are just sitting on their Titans instead of lowering their cost. People that can afford to build Titans probably have enough ISK that they can wait it out for a bit. Or RMT use has not been impacted very much or RMT use was never a big deal when it came to buying Titans.

Would love to see some numbers on how many Titans were built/sold over the last few months

Incursions also got nerfed so that is another instance of reduced ISK. Then you have Hulkadeddon.

Like a perfect storm is hitting the ISK area all at once these days

Wait... you don't care about walking in a station where you cannot pew?!?! We had no idea... we promise to make it up to you and focus on internet space ships....

Eve players... we bring you RMT killing at the same time Goons are Conducting HULKAGEDDON, the Drone regions are redone to get rid of poo, and introduce a new dynamic improving liklihood of killing stuff in PvP...

Wait... you mean this will tank the eve economy?!?!?!? We had no idea... we promise to make it up to you and balance the ships you can now afford (Frigates).

I'm not sure if you've earnt it with your attitude, but i'll play nice.

Let's assume mineral prices have doubled, then everything get twice as expensive; so yes, the hikes compare.

Prices have risen because the Drone Regions had their loot tables redistributed from mineral drops to standard bounty-loot. Too many bots were farming the minerals to bottom-line tech one production, especially on high-quantity things like capitals. With these changes CCP aim to make mining worthwhile again, but prices will be very steep until the community adjust, since very few people have been doing any traditional mining lately. Pirebears have been running incursions and Nullbears have been running on the fumes of tech one production to mass cost-efficiency.

The factors mentioned Plus Speculation has caused mineral prices to skyrocket.

The prices will stay high for a while until inferno is release, then it will slowly go back down. That is my prediction. Enjoy your 250 million abaddons and T2 Cruisers.

I will go fly commandships now.

No, this is EvE. Where you pay a bunch of chumps to do boring **** like mine all month for your titan. Titans belong to the 1%. You think the 1% goes out and shoots rocks?
