Post drone nerf, and mission loot reshuffle, megacyte and zydrine return to 2011 prices, any ideas?

This is true, it went into building supercaps.

Now, if those people want to continue to build supercaps, they have to buy from jita, compress, and move, just like the rest of us. This results in an additional non-trivial demand that was not there before. Blink

That doesn't factor in the fact (bad choice of words, I know), that many of those drone farmers will swap to mining. Not all of course. Prices are up, but I don't expect to see them go up much further. At least the rare ores. In fact, I see the highsec ore demand going up as a result more than the nullsec ores. Those drone farmers will mine, but they will all mine the high-profit ABC/DO ores, not Veldspar and Plagioclase.

They can switch all they want...many won't, but even for the mass of them that do, hulk pilots don't train overnight.

Maybe not overnight, but not two months either. It's a quick and easy train to be completely honest, and a lot of pvp'ers I know already have hulks trained up before heading to null.
