I just attempted to log onto SiSi, but after a brief patch I found my client was incompatible. I closed the login screen and launcher and tried again, resulting in a lengthy download and patch process.

Now my SiSi client has become a second TQ client. How useful. ;)

I hope that this will resolve itself when I try again tomorrow.

I can't be certain how exactly I managed to convert my entire SiSi install into a TQ one, so it may have been a PEBCAK problem. That said, I don't recall doing anything differently to how I usually use SiSi: Start SiSi Launcher -> wait for any downloads -> click "Play".

In any case, @salhany came to my rescue on Twitter with the following advice, which enabled me to re-patch my Singularity install back to the appropriate specification:

Quote:
You using W7? 64 bit? if so this is the string placed in the target link in the short properties.

\eve.eve" /server:87.237.38.50 for the file location you are using.

You got to get the server address just right it reverts to the TQ server by default happens to someone every RC update

I'm hopeful that the 0.9Gb patch I am currently downloading will result in a working SiSi install once again. I'll update here once it's done.

Edit: confirming the above advice worked. Cheers.

Redo your target line in shortcut

The final look of the Target line would look something like this:

"C:\evetest\eve.exe" /server:Singularity

there is a space inbetween the " and /
