Make the Naglfar an all turret platform

As a naglfar pilot, I'm always struck by the fact that I had to skill up on three different weapon platforms in order to fly my ship effectively only to end up with a dread that's pretty versatile but mediocre compared to other dreads. One would think the extra weapon platforms required would give you a niche to fill ( if there's any such thing in the world of capitals) but it's all a waste of time as it just doesn't add up. Strangely, in some ways, It's similar to fraud.
My solution to this problem is straightforward - give the naglfar 3 turret hardpoints and move the spare highslot to the mids. I
I'm sure many a naglfar pilot can relate to this issue in one way or the other.

P.S. I'm not buying that new missile effect bullcrap.

but what if they make cap sized nuets? you'll miss the hi's then.

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

They'd have to remove it or give the other dreadnoughts another utility high, because currently the Moros, Revelation, and Phoenix have high slots for full weapons + one utility (which is obviously taken up by siege module). Having the only extra utility high would instantly make it the best dreadnought (in addition to now being a single weapons platform instead of a hybrid projectile/missile).

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Not a Capital/Dread Pilot (Yet), but aren't most Minnie ships designed around 2 weapon systems? I think there's very few of their Tech-1 ships that don't have missile hardpoints

The ships you speak of include the hurricane, rifter and co. These ships can deal respectable dps without missiles. The nag on the other hand will need an extra turret hard point which will result in more overall dps.

If you have perfect gunnery and missile skills the Nag is an absolute joy to fly. If you don't have perfect gunnery and missile skills - why the **** are you even trying to fly the Nag?

The only dread that gets to choose it's dmg type without losing DPS.

I do have perfect skills all round so that's not the case. The benefits of an all turret platform outweighs what we have now.

This may have been a factor before, if it ever was, but no one chooses the nag because of its ability to choose the damage type dealt.

Are you complaining about the Nag or about the lacklusterness of capital missiles?

You would if you had to kill a series of max-hardened large faction POS w/ 91% EM, 88% Therm, 88% Kinetic and 60% Exp resist.

Fair enough but it doesn't stop most pilots from getting generally better dreads which are the Moros and revelation. I'm not in anyway asserting that the nag is terrible in its current form but it could definitely use some work. I don't mind if the extra slot is even removed but as long as the missiles are replaced, i'm sure anyone that flies one will be happy.

My problem with the nag is partly due to the lacklusterness of capital missiles.
