This gun uses to much PG. The medium pulse laser high high cost and is awesome. The DLP has less severe costs but also is slightly worse. Then there is the Gattling pulse laser... which costs 1 less PG and 4less CPU.... and is a significant step down from the DLP.

Amarr have amazing frigs but unless you are using DLP, most people just use auto-cannons... and for good reason. They do similar damage for MUCH less fitting. The Gatling laser has better optimal/range, but i feel is should cost 4pg for a t1 and 5pg for a t2 that makes the scaling:

Gatling: 4/5
DLP: 6/7
Medium: 11/12

It is known.

A gatling uses more grid than the biggest frig autocannon. The scaling for grid is also borked. DLP is 50% more than gatling but the next step is almost 100% more. Apart from the Slicer, no serious pvp frig setup uses medium pulses. (let alone beams)
