is it true you can now only mission in hostal space, so anyone winning will be refused missions on the grounds there is no system for them to mission in?

That would be funny as ****

I don't know the answer to this. If that is true I wonder if the larger side will leave one system open in the middle of their region so they can farm missions like mad. Of course, the smaller will be able to dock there but if the smaller side ever moved any significant number of ships there then the larger side could just switch the system.

lol correction the next few days.. It's gonna come down to the last few days before the patch is released and whom ever grabs the most space before then.. Wins. After patch day, have fun taking systems because it will mean the opposing side will have died from boredom if you manage to take one.

My bet is on Gals ganking all the important station systems b4 patch day because Caldari works together about as well as two drunks trying to play jenga on a table with 1 leg missing while a dwarf is juggling flaming tennis balls, on the corner of the table with the missing the leg.

The only thing Caldari has going for it is for some reason people still are willing to go undock and mash their own faces against the wall, repeatedly thinking that T1 cruisers & random frigs will somehow magically pull of victory vs tier 3 BC's & tech 3 cruisers.

Try to question this great sense of Sun Tzu war doctrine and it turns into more hassle than it's worth and pretty much the same out come as beating your head against a wall while expecting the wall to move. But hey least we won the ISK war.. am I right?

On the Minmatar/Amarr side it will be Minmatar because Amarr probably still think CCP will give them a reset and well they already gave up long before they decided they didn't want that space anyway.

Confirming that t3 BCS can get into minor and medium plexes......*sigh*

Seriously the people willing to throw those ships out are the ones going to flip systems or set it up for the bunker bust. Remember BCs can only get into the majors and unrestricted.

Minors and Mediums will be fought with t1 dessy,frigs,crusiers..................

Gallente or Minmatar to leach off of plex caps.

I guess once you have a signature, you cannot have a blank one.

Any of you non-FW pilots excited enough to join FW after these changes?

Yes. I've always been curious and these changes seem an improvement from the outside looking in.

However, our corp consists of me and my brother. So there is the issue of what, if anything, could we contribute. Also there's the problem of availability, around 2 or 3 days a week for no more than 10 hours total.

So for the Gallente, who seem organized and a bit exclusive from what I have read, I don't feel we have much to offer.

Reddit's premier FW corp, Fweddit, was formed in anticipation of the upcoming FW changes. We fully intend to liberate all of the once proud space chikunz currently held hostage by the minmatar "empire." We also request the return of all stolen bicycles and television sets.

You will achieve what you believe.

I don't think you'll see any militia rolling out the red carpet for a 2-man corp. It doesn't mean you and your brother still can't have lots of fun and pew. You just have to be savvy and do your homework on where the fights are. There is the ingame map and Dotlan to give you an idea of where the fights are.

To be honest, the reason most corps don't succeed in militia, regardless of faction, has little to do with the militia environment and more to do with the savviness of the corp CEO and his ability to establish relations with other corps.

I've seen quite a few Gallente corps come through and fail because the CEO doesn't know how to network and establish relations. Alot of the CEOs are just dense or don't have the knowledge.

Sasawongs 2 man corp has the highest victory points in the entire Minmatar militia every month, If you pick your fights and stay smart anyone can have a huge impact in the warzone.

As intimidating as the larger alliances putting alts into amarr fw for the upcoming months, its a refreshing thought that it would mean more targets to shoot at.
or more guns to shoot us.

either way, hope it'll be a blast and hopefully not some 1500 man battles.

Trouble with the new factional warfare changes is that all the incentives for newcomers is to join the winning side because of the the factor of 19 X LP difference (16X LP store and 20% LP gain modifier) between the 2 empires.

Considering ISK will be the main motive of people joining if they wanted good fights they'd have joined in the 2 months campaigns leading up to today.

Run 19 missions for a Navy BS on losing side.
Run 1 mission for a Navy BS on winning side.

Although maybe people really will join for the button orbiting, have to see how it plays out. Think in the coming months there may be some tweaks

I am thinking of signing up my little two-man corp as well. Mainly for the bling bling but also because I hope its a good way to get some experience doing pvp. Is it unrealistic to expect a well-fit frig or destroyer to be of use and profit in FW? Is there a current conflict favouring small skirmish warfare?

Yes, run offensive minor plexes in destroyers. Only other T1 frigs or destroyers can come fight you, and you earn LP. PVP and isk at the same time. It's a win win.
