To supply another problem for you... You cannot build a capital ship component or ship w/o the capital ship construction skill. To get this skill you need to have production efficiency at 5. Skills now, carrier later. :)

If you're asking this question, you should not be building a carrier.

You are not ready young grasshopper. When you can grab this pebble from my hand only than will you be ready. Roll

You need a lot more skills to build a carrier, for now it just may be worth it to just buy the carrier out right than deal with all the hassle of skilling up and building one.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

Of course you can build whatever you want, but just like someone who is still asking about how falloff and kiting works shouldn't fly a Machariel, someone who can't do a simple capital material calculation probably shouldn't fly a carrier. It might be unsolicited advice, but it's good advice.

If you are really lazy to the point where you delegate simple math to other people, and are offended when people offer unsolicited advice, then have another piece of unsolicited advice: stick to GD and CAOD.
