A funny thing happened on the way to the gate

I have been using a mission site to run mining ops from, when i warped to the gate the usual 5 rats were there i put out my drones and took them down the problem is when i killed them their wrecks appeared yellow to me , anyone have any ideas why this has happened..............

Was you doing the mission solo? From what I have seen, if the mission belong to someone else in your fleet (alt for example) and the alt is in a station while you kill stuff the wreck will be yellow for you. Once the alt get into space (same system needed??) new kills gives white wrecks.

So was the mission yours, or did it belong to an alt/friend?
