A lot, actually. You can just watch their pod warp back to station, and then come back and try to mine repeatedly for hours. Then you send a shiny report to CCP Sreegs and his nice staff of "oh god don't bot in our bad game" and it all gets sorted in the end~


But remember kiddos -- killing bots then reporting them for pod-mining makes you a horrible person and a shame to the CSM -- so don't do it, cause the Pubbie Bot Defender's League will cry blubbery tears on the forums about it.



My favorite part is how the ice market is literally built on the back of bots, but nobody has a problem with it, but DON'T YOU DARE BOT RAT IN 0.0

watch all those deathstars in low sec/null sec go offline when they run out of fuel. then go pop them with ease

Pretty easy to time when your cargo will be full and go dump it in station. It takes something like 20 minutes, so you tab out of EVE and do other things.

If you aren't aware of that, and just see bots everywhere, then i just don't know what to say.

yeah well if your pod keeps warping to the belt and back every 20 minutes while you're "tabbed out" I have to say I find my sympathy lacking. Maybe pay attention to the fact you're not in a ship any more?

I was speaking more about the goon policy of reporting anyone who 'keeps trying to mine in a pod' after their ship explodes, AKA: not warping out right away.

Unless you're out there clogging the system with false botting accusations it doesn't really matter if i missed you say pod or not in the original statement and assumed you were speaking of the same terms this thread is about.

i don't like to kill bots because they don't cry in local nearly as much as humans, all ice miners should be humans so when i flay them they whine about it
