I would just like to know my chances on this idea.

I'll go through the basic concept step by step.

1) Flip can of Hulk miner.
2) Miners drones attack me.
3) i open up on the Hulk and scram him.
4) Once shield and armor are donw, i turn down weapons.
5) i start a private conversation or send a mail to the pilot, asking him to eject from ship or else i'll pod him.
6) if that works, i'll get a neutral alt in to take the hulk to base.


Right, now for my question, is this something that is already done often?
If so, does it work often enough to make it worth it?

Hulks won't move even if you kill every one in the belt. They won't warp out after an army of trasher locked them. So i doubt they will sens their drones attack you for a can of veldpar.

It won't work.

You can't gain agression from drones by stealing a can. Even set to agressive, they will only attack a target which is attacking their controller.
