ts a gift and free who cares. They could give out scrap metal and it wouldn't matter.

but it does matter. it's not about the isk really. i don't care so much since it's a gift they could have given everyone like 80 million isk on the wallet...

i have implants already so what to do with the implants other than selling them?
those skillbooks go the same way and a similar route for those that don't mine and probably never will use those
crystals.

then for a lot of players the only option left is to go for the isk or to pick that pax amarria.
that's not really a choice. i would love to have some collectors item that you can fly in, or some other toy to play with, like
an insane funny module that can load fireworks or display your name in space with lasers...

the pack is free, it's fine, but some creativity is not a bad thing.

I liked the gifts. It gave my caldari alt two new cruisers, some missile books and a cruiser book. I suppose you want an officer-fitted titan as a gift?

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

I'd settle for an Aeon.

Obligatory "when I were a lad, we were grateful for a lump of coal for breakfast and a 25 mile hike up hill and down dale in 6 ft of snow to get to the mine at 3 am. All for a shilling a month" post.

Free stuff, stop moaning, if you don't want it give it to somebody who does, alternatively fit the ships and get blown up in an amusing fashion.

When I were a lad

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Haven't read anything about Inferno that says expansion. More like a patch to fix some really crappy loopholes. And by fix I mean officially make the loophole the default and claim it new and improved.

We get free expansions that are worth what we paid for them.

And you are not meant to point out the obvious that Inferno is actually The damp squib expansion.

It's a very good chance they've got more important things to do and enough work on their plates.

Also, I would seriously investigate anyone who chose the Pax Amarria as a gift when it is in fact worthless and useless. Anyone with sense would at least cash in for ISK whether they need it or not.

Disregard this, Pax Amarria all the way.

I wonder who (was stupid enought to) chose the Pax Ammaria gift. I got the refining skillbooks and 2X +4 implant, sold it all for 40m and bought a Pax Ammaria for 20m.

TL;DR: Pax Ammaria + 20m > Pax Ammaria.

To one with billions what's a few million? I have two accounts so with one I took skill books for refining i'd never buy on my own. I figure the free books would perhaps entice me to train the skills on a toon. It might not however and I can always resell them.

I also procured a copy of the Pax Ammaria as only those with decent bank accounts would see the novelty and value which will limit their numbers. As in real life not everyone collects a given item, but when you have a given item that a collector wants for whatever reason it can be worth it's weight in gold.

I do see your the value of your market play but I settled for less potential long term profit for the convenience of selecting the gift and being done with it.

I'm sure they'll fix that for you the next time they "clean out" unuseable items from the databse... P

Posting in a thread about "Crying like a spoiled little ***** over what I got for free". Confirming that those crying like spoiled little bitches over their free stuff are indeed "spoiled little bitches".

Has anyone actually seen the total cost of the items that they are giving? I am thinking about getting the set of +2 implants.

In Rens:

  • Omen + Maller: costs 20.5 mil to buy, gives 14 mil when sold
  • Caracal + Moa: 19.5 mil / 14 mil
  • Vexor + Thorax: 17 mil / 13.5 mil
  • Stabber + Rupture: 16 mil / 13.5 mil
  • +2 implant set: 16 mil / 9 mil (with some fairly heavy rounding of numbers)
  • Memory Augmentation + Cybernetic Subprocessor Standard: 42 mil / 40 mil
  • Mining Crystals: all but Mercoxit: 29 mil / 6.5 mil, Mercoxit alone: 80 mil / 19.5 mil

These are prices at the moment of writing. Personally, if I went for max ISK, I would take the two +3 implants.Pirate

There is something I'm wondering about - do those ships include any fittings, or are they just the hulls (I expect they are just the hulls, but it does not hurt to ask)?

Does anyone else think it's lame that someone actually took the time to figure this out?

Mr Epeen Cool
I dont think its lame, and i thank him for it, saves me the work, and is the only really useful reply in thread.

What else do you need to know other than which one is worth the most, ESPECIALLY when they are almost all items everyone has?The only value here is isk, and is the only reason to read this thread at all, so as to pick faster, as there is nothing else worthwhile in this thread, certainly not your comments. His at least served some use, and I thank him for that.

The first part yes. Let me remove Mining I from my skill sheet.. No need to refund SP, just remove it. My OCD side cringes every time I see it.

Yup I'd be on board, even if SP is not refunded or was halved or something. Just let me clear up my skill page leaving only relevant skills.
