CCP, can you please add these to the test server market for the 100 isk sales.

The reason I ask for this is because I like to test fits in real combat, but am unable to test fits consisting of faction/complex/officer mods because they're not available at the test server prices.

Supported.

As well as the faction ammunition, it is very annoying being limited to just t2 ammo if I want better then the basic ammo.

I'd like faction ammo added, I think seeding officer/faction mods will just make everyone pimp fit ships like they never would on TQ thus making the testing pointless as everyone is using them.

Oi....

The reason they don't seed it is so that people fit (and therefore test) things in a realistic manner.

'Realistic' would include faction damage mods and points, at the very least. And that's not even beginning to think of carebears doing high end PVE content with their uber-pimp setups - unfortunately, bear and griefer alike are limited to humble T2.

I would echo this actually... a large number of the fits I use for PvP have at the very least a Faction mod, sometimes Deadspace / Complex mods simply so they CAN be fitted properly.

While I will agree that Officer, Deadspace and Complex mods can for the most part be farmed a little in more safety on SiSi than even High-Sec TQ mission running; so isn't an issue they're not on the market, Faction Mods take a considerably larger amount of work to aquire between getting the right tags and LP points.

They are not only common but they rarely offer any particularly impressive bonus' over the T2 versions.
Sure a Tengu with say 2x Caldari Invulnerability Fields might have better resists than a T2 variant, but honestly who here ACTUALLY would fly a Tengu with just T2 mods?

So the "realistic" excuse doesn't really fly any more given these mods are far more common throughout new eden now.

I think people would pimp ships etc. then could be motivated to have similar ships on TQ.

If they then buy PLEX for the items, ultimately CCP and the EVE economy would benefit.

Arent the mods still available through contracts?

and isnt the base insurance payout the same as on tq?

so get some dreads bought for 100 isk blown up and buy the mods off contracts no?

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

We have been reviewing this a lot lately (many of you have also spoken to Habakuk and myself about it in PMs and 6-C local) and we have decided to seed all faction ammo (and cap boosters). We have no plans to seed faction/officer/deadspace modules at this time. Please note that the ammo change will take time to get right as we need to overhaul our seeding scripts - this will not be an overnight change and I doubt it will happen before next week at the earliest.

Please don't seed faction/officer/deadspace mods, ammo amd boosters won't hurt i guess, but mods will make T2 things useless and unused.
