Bluntness is often the priviledge of the uneducated.

First thing that came to mind after reading this was that insults are the refuge of those with nothing worth saying. Then I decided you would just claim it wasn't meant to be an insult.

Either way, I find that those who are both educated and blunt are by far the most worthwhile to talk to.

Bluntness comes in four shapes in my dictionary:
1. Having a dull edge or end; not sharp
2. Slow to understand or perceive; dull.
3. Lacking in feeling; insensitive.
4. To make less effective; weaken:

I understand why you accept this trait as natural and "worthwhile".
Minus the educated part, I say we found a new representative for the Minmatar race as a whole.

In the four years I have plied the lanes of New Eden as an Independant Capsuleer I have learnt many things.

- Friends betray you when you least expect it.
- The Empires generally cannot be trusted.
- War is endless, no matter the costs.

And numerous other simple life lessons that only dying and being born again can teach you.

I have seen the entire cluster plunged into warfare, seen a single madman bring the Empires to their knees and the very fabric of space ripped open in more places in one time than I think has ever been seen before.

What will happen in a centuries time?

Well for a start I certainly hope we get rid of people like Kuvakei for a start, other than that I have not a single idea.
Whoever thinks they do is more than likely deluded.

You rang, Kala? My "someone was making indirect references to me" sense was tingling. What's up?

Your dictionary is missing a fifth definition, the one specifically involving styles of communication. Which, amusingly enough, is what Kala was referring to: the ability to get a point across directly using only the words that are necessary, without being vague or using flowery language or unneeded description.

It seems the ability to discuss things without beating around the bush all the time is an irritatingly rare trait these days.

So what do you do with your immortality?
I try to further the agendas of those I deem worthy of my assistance and knowledge. I also do my best to keep morality in mind in whatever I do. While its also been but a brief time that I can consider myself a "Reclaimed Soul". In my conservative beliefs, I do my best to serve the one true God.

What do you want to do in the next century?
While the Sleepers and other ancient races intrigue me and occupy most of my time now, I do also want to know what is beyond our existence in this star cluster, I want to know what is beyond our current reach. Hopefully before the next century begins, I'll be able to see this goal come to fruition.. if not I'll wait patiently until the time is right.

For those of you who survived for a time as a capsuleer, what have you accomplished?
I've commanded thousands of souls, mortals and immortals alike in civil war across the vastness of The Empire. Though me and my brethren were ultimately defeated by civil conflict within our own faction, the war ended with victory. In the wake of failure, I accomplished victory in a war of beliefs.

We are not immortal, we are scientifically recreated time and again until something goes wrong in the process. With that said, when we cease to live each day as if it could be our last, we cease to live each day to the fullest. Complacency is a dangerous thing that can leave even the individuals with the greatest longevity in a state of regret.

My desire is to possess and demonstrate integrity and honor in all I do. Perhaps, in so doing, I may be considered a positive influence to at least one other and my life, however long it may be, will not be wasted.

Strive to never miss an opportunity to bring a little light to our perpetual darkness.

The last question is irrelevant to me, as I am quite young in the capsule.

I squandered my first few months as a Capsuleer on unfocused and unharnessed aggression. I was a warrior without a war, acting out at an injustice from my old life. Then, I found purpose that has motivated me for almost eight years now.

I seek the restoration of Minmatar. I seek to end the subjugation of my mortal kin and to rediscover the half-forgotten traditions and histories of my people. That is a task that my extended lifespan should come in handy for, as I expect it to take many, many years of both struggle and study.

The existence of other immortals whose own goals are in direct opposition to my own have already made this a much more challenging proposition. I think Istvaan may be on to a very practical solution to that particular issue.

Istvaan Shogaatsu wrote:

6. The human universe operates in cycles of annihilation.
7. Civilizations rise rapidly until reaching a critical point of evolution.
8. After this point, the civilizations vanish. We are at the end-stage of such a cycle.
9. The one common element in each cycle is the presence of the Jovians.
10. We are not such a common element. We are about to cease to exist.

11. I will continue to exist regardless of what happens to the rest of you.

That last one is a present, personal goal.

Would that I could keep my enemies dead.....

As an immortal who has way too much time on his hands, I have decided to take up a new goal for the rest of my life: I shall insult everyone.

Every single person in the universe shall be visited by me personally. And I will insult them. One by one. In alphabetical order.

Expect me.
