My direct response would be no.

Active tankig plus the ability to spend the cap on other things at the same time would be pretty op..

no fuel bays on non caps/black ops

if on say a bash op, an active tanker like....Rokh, would be filled with ammo. don't go boom and enough pos lined up by fc, a basher needs all that room for ammo. And maybe a jb jump or 2 amount of LO (I usually packed 1 jump jsut in case a JB could be used, mainly because on 1 op I didn't have it and man it would have been real useful).

and iirc ccp is looking to add boosters with charges. sort of like an injector...jsut on the sb directly. Be nice if it makes production, fixes actives tanks main pita...kill a mid fitting the cap injector.

If by "fuel" you mean "charge" then there are already shield boosters on the way in Inferno that have this functionality.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Yes that is what I meant. Any hope for armor repping?

Apparently the idea is being tested right now by CCP. I never said it's a great idea either, I was just curious to see what others thought.

So, given that neuts are a counter to active tanking using cap, what's the counter to active tanking using fuel?

Time, the fueled boosters take 60 seconds to refill, if they are not refilled they use an absurd amount of cap to run.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Capacitor = fuel or "mana" in other MMO's.
Mana = limited resource to determine actions
Therefore...nerf passive tanking that is not using the limited resource as it should. Roll

Yo dawg, I heard you liked tanking so we put all the bonuses of passive tanking in your active tank so you can be OP while you are OP.

Your idea is as bad as this post.
