Could you clarify what the tokens are used for? I had gathered a couple hundred, then next time I logged in I just saw 'Tokens have been reset'. Would be good to know what day the special events occur.

You say there is a 90% isk given to players in different prizes. But the question is: 90% of the isk people deposit or 90% of it all?
Here's and example: You deposit 50 mill isk and win let's say 300 mill (unlucky people money). If you spin the whole amount that you win... is that amount going in your pockets ? (except the 20% that goes to jackpot)
I presume that's how you make the isk to pay the 10 mill coupons.

The 20% going to jackpot is untouched, since thats 100% going back to players.
The remaining 80% goes into paying off prizes, of which 100% is given back.
The 10% comes from added prices on items (an item worth 100 mil "costs" 110 mil) so its a 10% margin.

Since the market is seriously unstable these days and prices climbs each day, we had to move the profit there to cover a few losses in the beginning where people won a 100 mil ship, and when they cashed it out, the price suddenly was 130.
So even that its 10% margin, we only get an average of 7-8% due to unstable prices on Eve market.

If you spin and win 300 mil, and spend those, those isk are within profit margin also, but since the margin is already deducted due to the prize above, that will count as "real isk".

The coupons is paid out of that small margin, and so far costed 8 billion isk, so its costing me isk to run this, but hopefully that will change :-)

Hope that answered your questions.

Sadly we're forced to introduce a "7 day age minimum" for players, since some guy created 220+ toons, and played for pure coupon codes.

I have to admit I never expected someone would go through all that work of creating and melting toons for that small amount of isk, but I guess some people have far less interesting things to spend their time on than I thought Shocked

I apologize if this causes issues for our younger players.

On a happier side note, a vindicator will be drawn among token holders very soon, good luck to all who has active tokens in the lottery!

Think I missed your question, not sure if you found the answer in FAQ, but here goes:

The token is a special prize, and the easiest comparison is to consider them "lottery tickets". Now and then a special prize is drawn, and token holders (which is really few) has a really good chance for it.

We aim to draw a prize each week and on a specific time, so its more like a "real" lottery, but at the moment the site is still too young to really support juicy prizes on a weekly basis, but we're getting really close.
Last week was a vindicator, and its increasing day by day, but for now its better to hand it out when its won instead of increasing the chance for tokens. Tokens are meant as a "damn, I spent all my isk, oh well, there is still hope." - kinda thing.

Hope this answers your question, and sorry for the delay.

I dump 100m from char and another 100m for another char and won about 20m isk.. total rip-off. The scrolling messages I realized, albeit late, are there from the entire day, they aren't a tally of things getting won "real-time", it appears that people are winning all the time, which is total crap..

[0:50] Isk: 6,000,000
[0:49] Isk: 6,000,000
[0:02] Isk: 6,000,000
[0:00] Isk: 6,000,000
[23:59] Isk: 6,000,000
[21:36] Isk: 15,000,000
[19:45] Item: Taranis
[19:42] Item: Tokens
[17:32] Item: Enyo
[11:27] Item: Ares
[0:52] Isk: 6,000,000

THAT"S FOR THE WHOLE DAY! (it scrolls to make it look like people are winning all the time, total garbage)..

I like slots, but I certainly like winning more often, at least make it fun.. don't have 3 spin wins in over 130 pulls.. that's a total epic fail..

STAY AWAY... IT'S A TRAP!

I'm sorry you didn't have a pleasant experience on our spinners.

The win ticker is never claimed to be real time winning ticker, which obviously is why there is a time stamp on the wins?

It is real time, but yes that's for a full day with current traffic on the site, we're pretty young site, and we are not Somer Blink, and never claim to be. Reason why it scrolls is to show you a longer list on smaller space.

Your win chances has nothing to do with the traffic on the site at all. You win same if you are the only person playing or 500 people playing at the same time. The only reason why the other wins are shown to you, is to confirm that some people actually win on the site.

Hope this shed some light on your doubts.

i tried it out last night after seeing on the forums. if the coupon thing is still active, it didn't work for me or my alt. i dropped in 100m and pulled until i ran out - roughly 65 pulls, spread out between the non-faction tickers - and won an ishkur (the only AF race i can't fly, of course) and two 3m prizes total. i might try it once more and hope that my luck was bad, but that's pretty poor odds, all considering - two bottom-level prizes and a 20m-isk ship for 100m and 4.6% win rate.

edit: forgot to mention that I haven't seen my ishkur yet, either, so really i won 6m isk total. do i need to do something to get my ship?

i make spreadsheets for pretty cheap. contact me for more info.

90% payout my ass.

Only won twice in about 35 spins for a total of 9m of 85m put in.

It also appears that your "wins on this site" box just recycles the same wins over and over and over....

just curious, how can you tell how close you were to winning? since it's a randomizer and all.
