just suck it up buttercup. buy some plex and fund your account that way. never worry about nexon points, yen, or godzilla again. :)

I have this problem as well. Sent in a petition but as I wait I am curious if anyone has had luck getting their account switched off the nexon system?

Hi Everyone,
updating this thread with my experience.

I'm a Japan based player and I just ran into the issue of having only the NEXON option as payment method to renew my subscription - No matter if I used to pay via Paypal before, all payment options have disappeared. I'm redirect and forced to create an account with Nexon to pay my subscription.

I've contacted CCP via petition about it, something like 5 days ago, still waiting for them to reply... What? Nice customer service guys.

So, since there is NO WAY I'm going to accept this treatment from CCP that totally alienates Japanese based players, and create a NEXON account (for which I'd have to give them my Credit Card details), I looked at my options and bought an EVE Time Code from a third party, via Paypal.

60 Days > $34.99 (BTW how does it compares to the normal subscription cost?)
It worked and I'm now back in the game, which is the most important.

Still, I want to ask something simple to CCP Devs: Why in hell do you force Japan based player to pay via NEXON ONLY? Why CAN'T you offer multiple payment options for the people who want them?

Looking at the threads already up here, (some are locked for some reason...), I am obviously not the only one having this problem. Looking to get more players and service them better using an Asian service is one thing, alienating those players to only one payment option is another.

I hope we can get a real explanation about the situation and better, get our payment options back.

So much dumb in this thread.

Nexon is Korean. They dominate the virtual currency market in Asia. They probably aren't too happy about the recent ruling in their home country.

Not to discourage you, but some of my *in game* petitions took 2 months just to be accepted.
Out of game petitions start from 15 days and go all the way to 1+ months like hot butter.
