Is there any place I can use to find out what Large Collidable Structures have loot and what ones don't, so I don't have to waste ammo trying to destroy it?

Any decent mission guide site usually explicitly notes any structures likely to drop worthwhile loot. If they're not mentioned, they probably won't drop anything useful.

Above posters are correct.

1 additional note:

Structures in L4 missions RARELY drop anything worthwhile. T1 ammo, mods, livestock and contraband is pretty much all you will ever get. Occasionally scrap and tags, but that's not often. Do yourself a favor - save your ammo and time, don't bother.

Note: The bonus room in all Extravaganza missions were once rumored to have a structure with a chance to drop faction. I have never personally obtained a faction mod drop, though I did get some ammo a couple times about a year ago. I am under the impression that if this was once true, it is no longer.

provided that there really aren't that many structures that drop anything worthwhile, somebody should probably make a list for us mission nerds to learn by heart.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Yup. I think that's gone. I believe that was "Silence the Informant" L3. If that's what you're thinking of, it's gone. Haven't seen skillbooks from that in about 2 years.

Would be more recent than that, I was grinding out missions when I got back from an extended break in early January. Was kinda silly to have 20-30 million isk worth of books in an easy level 3 mission, but as I was in dire need of the mullah I didn't mind at the time =)

Silo in room 3 of extravaganza should still drop an implant, at least it did every time a few month ago....

Not true. It was dropping skillbooks as recently as 2 weeks ago when I last ran it. Not to mention, as somebody above said, the Silo in the 3rd room of Angel Extravaganza drops an implant each and every time I've destroyed it. So, best advice is not to listen to Kalli as he/she/it has been wrong multiple times in this thread already.

to be perfectly fair to Kalli, Silence the informant 3 and the fourth room of AE4 are the only two that i can think of that drop useful loot, I think there might be a another that has a structure that drops 50 metal scraps, but i cant recall what that one is called off the top of my head.

Kalli is right 90% of the time , structures wont drop loot, and its better to save the ammo. cept sometimes ill still clear a room of structures just to see if anythign has changed. who knows? maybe ill find something everyone else has missed or CCP has changed, but i always use drones for that sort of thing.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

As a regular mission runner, yes Silence the informant lvl 3 is one of the easist and profitable missons you can get.

That pleasure hub is most times a gold mine and even if it doesn't drop Skill books the R.A.M stuff is always handy for your production folks.

There are other missions that have buildings that drop stuff, (i'm rummaging eve-survival atm). Some have less HP than others, some are crazy.

The Seven's Prision Facility lvl 3 will drop some mining crystals and livestock, and it only takes a couple volleys on my tengu to drop it, so it is cost effective for me.

Pirate Invasion lvl 3 on the other hand has that war installation that has like 350K HP and drops t1 crap. not worth it it per se, but someone told me that it gives a good sec status % (never noticed it personally)

http://www.eve-survival.org is your best friend, but don't just leech from it, contribute, notice a buidling drops loot now hell update it, getting better/worse loot than what is mentioned post it. some of the missions are outdated me thinks.

Hope this helps

Enemies Abound 5/5 I think; the gate drops 50 scrap if I recall.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Some of them used to have a chance of dropping deadspace loot. I guess not any more?

Also, blowing up certain structures in missions will prevent the next spawn wave, which lets you blitz the mission. Whether you want to blitz or collect bounties is up to you.

Bullshit, some structures got chance for good or decent drop, but in most cases crap ammo drop ect, but.

4th poket of angel extravaganza lvl 4, silo random imps +3% somtime imps worth 7-12mil isk.
Recon 2of3 faction ammo form mining station maybe chance for other drop or nothing.
Use guides while missioning and read details.

Mobile Habitat in lvl3 Silence The Informant often drop several 10 mil skill books. Lvl4 version has long since been nerfed. There are also several combat storyline missions, such as Angel version of Shipyard Theft, that can drop faction. CCP does one thing and only one thing well when it comes to pve - NERF. Basically, anything that escaped the nerf bat due to obscurity, is worth checking out.
