I like this idea, just don't make it something that you can do next to belts or outside of high sec.

Respectfully, this goes against the very fabric of Eve. If you want something like this, pretty much every other game has it. Let's have just 1 game that doesn't. Pretty please.

Pretty lame idea in my opinion.

The whole point is eve is the sandbox. Pretty much anything can happen anywhere. This system would make eve like many other mmo's that have a duel area or duel mode.

I too want to jump on drake bait like a bewb. Please, CCP make a mechanic that makes up for my lack of intelligence and instant gratification personality to attract more "new" players.

1v1 is boring as hell, unless you have roughly the same fit.

Right now its generally "honourable gentleman A, in full bling with links hidden away in system VS unprepared scrub B in a shitfit Ferox.

CCP should put in an arena type deal where you can pick 1v1 and up. You can place bets on your team, let people watch, etc etc. Would be pretty entertaining imo.




edit: Now a WoW type arena, think more of the coliseum.

I have seen some threads about ls dwellers complaining about how no one comes to play with them anymore... well its the blobbing that stops it. I jumped into a cane for some ls fun on the weekend was fully content with the fact that I was going to loose it as it was my first solo attempt, jumped into ls, the gate was camped by a talos gang... managed to get back out safely.. but how does that inspire anyone to try??? so I just logged my null toon in and went about boring blobbing with the alliance for the rest of the day... really isn't that much fun to be honest..
