Hey All,

I am noticing that a lot of Eve Marketeer's prices are horribly out of date. Has something happened with that site?

It had a lot of technical issues and needed an host change. Not sure when it'll be back to top functional.

I'll post some graphs in the next days to sort of cover some things.

It's been down for about two weeks, and came back with horrible out of date data and is rejecting uploads.

Depending on markets I have current pricing from today back to 2009-ish, so it's not all lost.

Likewise, I have every piece of market data made publicly available by the major sites (and some smaller ones, and some third parties), as well as EMDR consumption on top of that - so between us we should be able to save the world.

On a completely off-topic note, I can't find my tracking thread, when am I due to return ISKies to you (now?)? I've completely lost track of things lately! Damn flu :-(.

With Eve Marketeer's problems I've switched to using http://eve-marketdata.com/ - so far it has been very reliable.

If you create your own worksheets / tools, you should set them up to switch from one price source to another with a simple change.

EMD (EVE-MarketData) - has the 5% sell simulation, but only updates that price once per day
EMK (EVEMarketeer) - has been down, but is now back up, the 5% sell sim price gets recalculated frequently
EC (EVE-Central) - the old and venerable, offers a "sell/percentile" value which is reasonable for materials
EAD (EVE Addicts NL) - New kid on the block, API is still a work in progress

=if($B6>0,if($B$3="EMK",ImportXML("http://www.evemarketeer.com/api/info/"&JOIN("_",$B6:$B25)&"/xml/"&H$3&"/sell_lowest5","/result/row/sell_lowest5"),if($B$3="EMD",ImportXML("http://api.eve-marketdata.com/api/importxml_prices2.xml?char_name="&$A$3&"&buysell=s&region_id="&H$3&"&type_ids="&JOIN(",",$B6:$B25), "/emd/price"),ImportXML("http://api.eve-central.com/api/marketstat?typeid="&JOIN("&typeid=",$B6:$B25)&"&usesystem="&H$1,"/evec_api/marketstat/type/sell/percentile"))),"")

$B6:$B25 is the Item ID
$B$3 is the "EC" / "EMK" / "EMD" switch
H$3 is the region ID
H$1 is the solar system ID

I mostly go by eve central but EveHQ goes off of either battleclinic's prices or evemarketeer's prices. I lack the skill needed to change where EveHQ gets its price data and battleclinic's data seems woefully inaccurate.

Thanks

Looks like it is accepting new data (2012-05-14 12:04:31) but some is still a month old (2012-04-21 21:48:44), which is odd because by I uploaded all drone and mineral prices in the big-4 market hubs last night.
