So I recently started playing EVE on my Mac laptop. With the default settings I can ALMOST get it to run smoothly.

However, the framerate seems to be just a bit off and it drives me crazy. I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas for what to tweak in the settings without having to go to the horribad graphics that I've been playing with for the last few weeks?

The best compromise with my MBP Ive come up with is everything low, except shader and texture, which are medium.

Same here, everything on low with the shader and texture on medium. Can get a bit laggy in big fleet battles but I usually zoom way out at that point anyway which solves the problem.
