Kill Missions Still Mixed in With Hauling Missions?

Subject should be self-explanatory, but I was wondering if they still mix a few kill missions in with hauling missions. I always kind of hated that system, and am hoping that they did away with it once and for all.

I run kill missions and only get kill missions from my agents, cept for some hauler missions that are part of a series of course (like enemies abound part 2). Storylines are unfortunately still mixed. (Materials for war preparation can die in a fire tyvm).

I think the only distribution missions on which you might have to fight are level 1s. Level 2-4 distribution has 0 combat.

As the previous poster said, storylines are mixed and what you get isn't always based on what kind of missions you ran previously.

I do disagree with the materials for war complaint. I do Level 4 distributions all the time...but do not have a combat ship enough to do a level 4 encounter mission. Thus I must decline any storyline that involves combat.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

agreed Big smile problem is that the closest storyline agent is choosen and if that one is a hauling agent you get hauling missions like indeed the stupidest mission in the whole of eve (Materials for war preparation) So i think storyline missions gotten from doing kill missions should be from the closest combat agent.

I understand where you're coming from, but if you run storylines for the faction standing increase then this mission is really lame because the completion times of it are really fast. Smart ppl usually have the ore on sale in stations with storyline agents so it's a matter of seconds. And the faster missions are completed the lower the faction standing increase. So for me it's a wasted storyline and I have to do another 16 missions hoping I get a decent one.
