This should be part of EVE's title. Before I started playing EVE over 6 years ago I spent many hours on the forums. I learned that EVE dev's allow/love/dont care about scams. One of the biggest scams was from one of its own dev's!! I decided I would not join any other corporation. I also decided that the only members of my corp were going to be from my accounts. I also decided that I would only buy on the open market and not from contracts or directly from another player. All this works pretty good. Ive never lost any ISK to any other player. I am starting to suspect one of my alts from trying to steal from my corporation!!

This is Eve, everyone here is an evil sick sadistic bastard who is out to get you, everyone who tells you otherwise is trying to scam you or use you.

With that in mind I say you should order out a hit on that alt of your, I do it for 100mil. Log in on that alt in a pod send me the isk and tell me where in hi sec you want it Lol

You should limit the amount of isk and assets they have access to by managing their roles properly.

you would still get blapped by a market order scam the way you play, at least it is a remote possiblity that you should educate yourself on if you dont know about.

but the rest of it is good stuff, only the paranoid survive

Its not true mate.

In the entire time ive been in EVE all of my wealth which at times has hit 30 billion has been accessable by other people and i have never been scammed for anything.

Also ive had access to a BPO list that would make your eyes water and ive never taken anything.


It all depends on who you are dealing with and if you have actually started to believe the game hype and think you have to behave that way.
I dont normally troll, but when i do i do it on General Discussion.

If someone posts things like this, it's pretty obvious that they're planning some corp thievery in the near future and are just trying to build up reputation.

As the rest of the playerbase, he's not to be trusted.

I'd kick the suspect alt out of your corp if i were you and start a thread warning others of him. Then, book an appointment with a psychologist to see if there are indeed more than two people inside your head Shocked

My alt is some left-wing Gallente in his own little corporation. He's all "Freedom first! You're not the boss of me! Waa, waa, waa! The Caldari oppress teh masses! Slavery is wrong! Boo hoo!" Liberal pansy.

I too am a filthy liberal pansy Gallente alt.

The Caldari have taken me in and let me live with them as long as I give up Gallente traditions and begin to shower daily.
Klauduis - Don't let that alt near your exotic dancers. If you do - send them to the doctors afterwards.

I believe Gallente alts such as myself are the ugliest and least trustworthy of all alts.

I got the dude who plays as my main to type this for me cause Gallente can't read or write (especially their militia) - told him id pay him 10mil iskies for typing it for me- lol what a fool.

I suppose that's all good and fine if you're autistic or antisocial, but I personally enjoy the game much more when I have other people to cooperate and play with. Simple risk management is necessary though when dealing with assets and trust. Learn how to do that and even your most trusted confidants won't be able to steal from you...or at least not much anyways.
