like the topic say, and just before alliance tournament ....

for those who don't know the utu:

Gallente Frigate Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to drone damage per skill level and 10% bonus to Warp Scrambler and Warp Disruptor Range per level.

Role Bonus: 50% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret Optimal Range and Tracking and 50% reduction in the amount of heat damage absorbed by modules.

The Utus have a high chance of being this year's tournament reward as well because CCP devs are lazy. This ship is not at all as rare as believed to be, the price of it is about to be cut in half.

So 50 of these ships in existence is not rare enough? Where do you get your fact that "there is a high chance that this year's tournament reward" will be Utus?

"Only four of them in the game on active accounts" doesn't equate to four of them in the EVE Universe. There could be at least a dozen or two in non-active accounts as well. Just check the old forums and see hundreds of unsubbed accounts.

Also, the number of items is not the sole determinant of their pricing. It also depends on their popularity/applicability/etc. Surely, you can't fit this awesome Tobias' Modified Thermic Dissipation Amplifier with other mods? Neither can you view it on the hanger like ships. I saw Makur's modified item where there is only one in existence, selling for 20B at an auction, but on the other hand, I see dozens of Guardian-Vexors and Silver Magnates going for 35B and 90B, respectively.

At a universe where there are unlimited-infinite production of T1 and T2 ships where millions of those flood the market, the fact that there is a ship with only 50 limited production is exceptionally "rare."

It definitely commands pricing above the meager 5B that the great Goonspiracy has proposed.

It should be definitely worth more than 20B.

But I will bid for 14B if there are no takers. =P

and it probably got deleted with all the other things that "shouldnt" have been in the game.

ships have more value as they have more use

Nah. I would be surprised if they did that though... it's not like they need a new model and the caldari ships are already V3'd so they just need to crate a new item ID, slap on a neon orange skin w/ black flames on the front, slap a 'X' on it, and use the Merlin and Caracal models. Yah though, if CCP did a re-issue you can bet the price would get cut in half. I just don't think that will happen. Still, if it did I wouldn't be mad.
