What's the best ship to run level 2 Distribution Missions in? currently running in a Badger Mark II.

L2 distribution missions tend to involve volumes larger than most frigates can handle, but well within the capacity of a bonuses and expanded Exequror. Alternately the Sigil, Iteron Mark 1 and Wreathe are excellent choices due to their agility and speed.

The badger Mark 2 is more than adequate for L4 distribution missions. Its low agility and speed will hamper your lower level mission activities. Of course you can use the Badger Mark 2 as a base for combat, since it has the fittings to mount a decent tank and some offensive capability. Many would-be gankers don't look at the fitting of an industrial ship before attempting to shoot it, so simply adding any tank at all will earn you some ganker tears as you pass through Uedama and Niarja.

Good luck, have fun!

Can a Badger M-II even handle some of the good Tank gear? or am I missing something lol.

With good core skills, yes. Otherwise, not so much.

Use one of the cruisers with the larger cargo bays and toss Cargo Expander IIs into the lows. I used an Exequror.

In all seriousness the absolute best ship would probably be a Crane.

Why?

Agility and warp speed.

Did I mention agility and warp speed?

for L2, just run it in a Probe, cheap and fast, you don't really need anything bigger than that for most of the L2 distros

Distribution Missions:

Level 1: Any Frigate...heck a noob ship would cut it. Some missions can even be done in a shuttle.
Level 2: Any high-cargo frigate. A Minmatar Probe with a pair of Cargo Expander I's can top 500m3 which is more than enough for any level 2 mission.
Level 3: Lowest Tier industrial. I used a Minmatar Wreathe, but any of them should suffice.
Level 4: My personal favorite is a Hoarder (Middle-tier Minmatar Industrial). Any industrial that can hold up to 8000 m3 will be enough. I use the Hoarder versus the Mammoth because it aligns and warps faster.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

Any of the cloaky haulers (Prowler, Viator, Prorator, Crane) are great for any distribution mission. They're agile, have a high warp speed and can hold enough for any courier mission. Plus you can warp around cloaked, so low-sec dropoffs are no problem at all.

I like this but I would add a Medium Shield Extender II. You still can be ganked but at least you wont have the EHP of a shuttle.

It's been a while since I ran missions but I am about to start running them for storyline/faction standings. I am thinking I will run 1's and 2's until the L3's pop up then add them into the mix.

I am pretty short on ISK so this is what I have picked up so far:

Iteron IV

Med - 2x Adaptive Invulnerability Field I
- 2x Medium Shield Extender I
Low - 3x Inertia Stabilizers II
Rig - 3x Medium Low Friction Nozzle Joints I

It aligns pretty fast and I don't have a lot of ISK invested.

But if I recall correctly don't they through in combat missions? If so, think I can get by with a poorly fit Domi or Cruiser? Or will I need to Fleet with someone?

Nice thread time to revive it

Cargo Missions:

Level 1: Any Frigate
Level 2: High cargo Frigate with Cargo Expanders (Such as the Probe)
Level 3: Low-tier Industrial (Such as the Iteron I)
Level 4: Mid-high tier industrial (Such as your Badger II)

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

Try a cloaky hauler. They're naturally fast and agile, and have more than enough room for the missions (I think so, at least -- I've never really done any cargo missioning beyond levels one or two)
