I host a small gathering of (3-6) players about twice a month in San Gabriel.

Presently working with the owner of a specialty beer restaurant to host a larger (up to 50) Eve Player gathering in a few months. The owner said she will import some Einstok Icelandic Beer and if we want, she will get some Ölvisholt Lava and Stout (which is about $14.95 for 16.9oz).

Micro-Meetup in San Gabriel at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM PDT

There are about 4-5 people coming tonight for a Micro-Meetup in San Gabriel, California tonight from about 5pm to 8pm.

MEETUP EVENT

These Micro-Meetups are simply a few So-Cal players that get together to talk EVE (and a few other topics like Burning Man, but EVE foremost). We have been meeting informally for over a year but until now we have not advertised it. This restaurant is willing to host a larger event (maximum 50 people) in a few months and the owners will import some Icelandic Beer just for us. The owner said she can also stay open later with additional staff if our larger event takes off.

So if you want to meet "EVE is Real People", come by and get a good sandwich and some beer. We usually sit in the back (right side) of the restaurant by the soda machine. You can ask the staff, they know of us and of Eve-Online.

If you can't make this one... I plan on doing it again next month too, and also each 3rd Wednesday of the Month (when I'm not traveling for work).

Just a reminder to everyone that California Capsuleers is free to join. California Capsuleers (community bulletin and message board) was created to help keep us Californians informed of upcoming events happening. The site was created by Toriessian who is also an Event Organizer for NorCal Eve Meets. Jet Burns is an Event Organizer for SoCal Eve Meets. Congratulations and thanks to both those players for their time and work.

Anyone can organize / host a California Eve Meet and joining California Capsuleers is not a requirement. However, I highly encourage all California Eve Players to join the community board. As I've stated before, please send me the details of any planned California Eve Meet via Eve Mail in-game and it'll be my honor to list that information in the original post of this thread.
