You have boken the Launcher AGAIN !

Not so dear CCP,
you have broken the launcher again. "Client is ready" but it never start.
Every time you do this my already low interest in playing EVE decrease even further. I am already at teh 0 level and now I am going into the negative, to the point that I will start to actively discourage everyone I know from playing EVE.
When i log I want to play, not to spend 2 hours reading other players suggestion on the forum to find a way to make your game function. I have been a supporter of the game for years but your incompetence is killing it step by step.

Of course the people that never have a problem with the launcher don't feel the need to post about how its working flawlessly for them. Given that the vast majority of folks have no trouble with it I have to wonder what you're doing wrong?

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

lets be honest. if people didn't have the launcher to complain about, they'd be complaining about the various bugs and issues which having a launcher has prevented them from ever experiencing.

I Think you have it backwards Daneirkus. The fact that people are complaining about the launcher must mean the game has it going pretty well. Relatively.

1) Click on My Computer
2) Go to .../EVE/Bin/
3) Double click on ExeFile.exe
4) ???
5) Profit.. I mean play EVE

Chribba, can set the launcher to only show when there is an update, and you can set it to go away after launch.

Yeah the launcher is broken...

Its stuck on "1/4 Validating Client 0.0%" for a good 10 minutes before coming to this error message

Ran repair tool, no effect

Reinstalled client, no effect

Running eve.exe gets me in the game

CCP...do yourself a favor and get rid of the ******* launcher since it doesn't do anything other than acts as a fancy icon.

I get this as well;

Launcher pops up, validates client for a little moment (up to 10%), then a quick splash screen, folowed by normal startup. And I have set launcher to only show if there's a patch.
