Wormholes + New faction warfare + Merc marketplace = the final blow to null sec

Null sec, you were fun while you lasted and hello inferno :)

With the current wormhole PVP, none blobs and the crazy amounts of isk to be made, there is now more!!

TWO NEW THINGS!


  • Mercenary Marketplace - no more forums crap order your mercs on the market, with there stats displayed!!!!!!
  • Faction warfare - now same as 0.0 take stations etc BUT you get paid LP for PVP kills! Destroying an Abaddon fitted with tech 2 mods will give you like 8100 LP!!http://www.evenews24.com/2012/05/09/factional-warfare-overhaul/
  • And more!


This will deliver the final blow to 0.0 space!

I am beginning to wonder, does CCP want null to die completely? so they can get control of their game back?

"wormhole PVP" its so rare, thanks to one alliance whos making cool videos, but theres not so much pvp in wh, and it will not change anytime soon

Mercenary Marketplace - i afraid hisec guys will cry 'why so expensive' there will bie prices in billions.... hundreds of billions for good merc corps/allainces

Faction warfare - this should work, ill throw alt there to have more fun

so all it takes is a 0.0 alliance joining FW (since alliances can do that now) and there is a fiscal incentive to literally farm lowsec dwellers

So let's see....let's assume you are correct with 8100 LP.
From what I am reading in the dev blog on FW, you can buy 5 datacores for 200K plus 200LP.
So...if that number is also right:

8000 / 200 *5 = 200 datacores, at a cost of 200K * 40 = 8 million.

So, you blow up that Abaddon , tack on 8 million, buy Nanite datacores, and volia, you have 200 datacores worth 300K each = 60 million, at current market prices of course.....

No, this is not going to completely trash the value of datacores at all.

CCP noticed that the nullbears were too busy farming it up and not fighting that much, even after they fixed supercap dominance and lag in big fleet fights. So they're trying to incentivise other types of pvp instead, the ones people actually take part in.

That'd be my guess anyway.
