where to get Mining ship BPOs

Like the T1 ones... Ive heard ORE space?

How do you tell what are NPC seeded orders and which are players? I keep hearing that NPCs set the price and seed the server with the BPOs?

You can check the "Expires in" column in the market window: NPC orders (Sell or Buy) have a 1 year duration while Player orders can only go up to 90 days.

POS Layered Defenses: "Panic" mode and defense-automation arrays

Buy from Jita unless you like getting podded.

The Ore stations are in NPC 0.0 and they locals like for you to try to buy it as it gives them targets undocking Shocked

if you want a bit of fun though.... http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Outer_Ring#sec will show you where the ORE stations are by map.... or by list http://evemaps.dotlan.net/npc/Outer_Ring_Excavations/stations

Other BPO's are not so scarce, you can find most others by just traveling to the 4 faction spaces of empire. CCP decided it would be fun to put the most popular Carebear blueprint in 0.0 Twisted wonder why they did that Blink

Have to admit I never thought of that someone needs to buy that guy a beer whoever thought of tossing all the mining BPO's in 0.0. It's just downright evil, where you can almost everything else in empire.

The BPOs are on sale there because they are made by the NPC corp that holds SOV there

Good luck running down to NPC nulsec to buy a 2bil isk BPO instead of buying it in Jita and paying 200M extra

CCP apparently wanyts them only available to 0.0 players, its cool there are ppl telling them to shove it and selling them anyways lol and with only a 200m markup

Don't be so lay and just go buy one. I bought 3 noctis bpos on their release day and made it out fine. If you were there you know what the station camps were like. It won't be 1/10 that bad.

I just made the trip last night. Used a cloaky nullified tengu. Went through PF- even. There was one pull bubble the 18 or so jumps it took to get there. I saw probably 15 people total. 1 was in the target system. This was about 04:00 eve time. Pick your time and ship /fitting carefully and it should be easy peasy.

There is no risk in travel anymore with cloaky/nano/nullified t3s. Use your noggin and get the BPO.

Specifically, there are only four ORE stations :

* 4C-B7X VI - Moon 1 - Outer Ring Excavations Refinery
* 4C-B7X VIII - Moon 1 - Outer Ring Excavations Mining Outpost
* NM-OEA V - Moon 4 - Outer Ring Excavations Mining Outpost
* NM-OEA VI - Moon 23 - Outer Ring Excavations Mining Outpost

Make sure to check the box to show market orders in nulsec or you won't see the sell orders.

I moved a no-skill alt in a rookie ship to one station, on an unusually lucky day when there weren't any bubbles up along the route. I use a T3 ship to move stuff to hisec, as there usually are bubbles along the way.

EDIT: Pick-up some mining-related skill books while you are there. Example: Mining Director is only available from ORE.

I just made the run, the place was deserted. I guess everybody was having dinner or something... I got caught in 5 different bubbles along the way but bubbles were alone, no hostiles whatsoever... I went on a t1 frigate with nothing more than three 75mm rails.... no cloack, no MWD, no nothing. :\
