Has anyone had any experience using an external button box like X-Keys with EVE in OSX? I'd be interested to hear you product recommendations if you would like to share...Thanks in advance :)

Not me, but the description of it includes the words "macro" and "included software" so it may be something that triggers Eve's macro prohibition (and the detection software). The result would be a ban. Note that if CCP detects the macro, they ban you, irrelevant of what you were using the macro for. The reason being that once a Macro is sending commands to eve, there is the potential for it to be used to automate game play, irrelevant of any stated intent of the user.
