Hello again!

Ive waiting awhile to post this into the new forums, but I would first like thank everyone who has used wormnav and giving me great feedback on ideas and features etc to make it what it is today.

Well what is it it?

Wormnav is an exploration tool designed to give you as much information as possible about wormhole space in regards to systems and activity with as little input as possible.

It also has optional features to help you narrow down the static and to note current signatures and the current chain from your wormhole.

It can be found here Wormnav

Security implications

When I first launched it there was a big ruckus about tracking and so forth, so learning from past mistakes Ive moulded it to be able to be used without giving any information all the way to providing additional details if you want to use it in a particular way. It is up to yourself to decide on how you use it.

Warning - The tool itself knows where you are if you use the trusted version!

The future and moving forwards

If you have any suggestions or features you would like to see or even if something could work better I would love to hear it. You can either mail me in-game or convo me. Any donations aswell would also be appreciated if you feel it is worth it.

Thanks for you time

Excellent tool, been using it for months. Saves countless hours, is quick and easy to use. +1

With the chain feature, will you one day be doing some sort of Ombey Map with what goes where and how often? I think that would be an interesting metric.

EG: J000001 has static to C1 and has linked to the following systems and how often it has done so.

I like the idea, but I dont think it would be worth the time reason being is that the most active corps do turnover quite a number of the jumps.

Back in april the owners of J230559 (C6) had 9360 jumps in a 30 day period. (Most likely due to 'static-rolling')

While Iam being cynical that I doubt they would report every hole they connect to, it further bring issue that the 10th most active wormhole was half that. Once you start adding in the fact there are 2498 of the buggers, You would get a picture of maybe the top 100 wormholes but alot of static fluff for incomplete lists for the rest of them wouldnt make it worth the time in my opinion.

But its sounds like a mad idea, so I might trial it once I get round to polishing off the mapper.

There was another of these tools some time back which did a quick PI assessment, as in does it have all the planets needed for pos fuel. that could be helpful as well. I have just started looking at the tool today, can you help me understand how it is diff from static mapper?

Edit: Ok it looks like it is MORE information, as in Anomalies, and Explo, very nice.
Edit 2: Zoinks the PI is there already! Nice tool man.

Now if only there was a way to share bookmarks through the corp somehow through the site

I've been using this tool since the day it was originally published, and haven't looked back.

During this time, many tweaks and new features were incorporated.

My entire corp uses this tool now, and I highly recommend to anyone getting into w-space (whether gank diving or permanent residency) to consider this tool.

a definite shout out for wormnav as a great tool providing a substantial amount of information on one screen.

personal fave bit: the extended week long history of activity.

also, if you ask very politely for information on wormholes in the contact window, he'll actually tell you.

many thanks dude.
