I just got a high specced pc and decided to get this gae and it looks awesome, however being mostly a console gamer up until now, I have no friends on to play with on there!

Please add me ravenor911

I really REALLY need tips and advice, as to be honest I am not very good, being used to console control pads as opposed to keyboard and mouse!

soon as I get a rig that can run it, I will.

the PS3 version is fun, but contra to you, I cannot get a decent game going with a controller, find myself looking at the floor or sky because I expect the Y-Axis to reset when I let go - sadly not.

hope Dust 514 doesn't have this issue. - ne1 know?

What are decent specs for BF3. I have an interest in it, and I am rebuilding my PC. Essentially, I would only have to upgrade my graphics cards after gettings a new MB and CPU.

Quad-core + 670gtx will give you a pretty good result @ 1080p+

Early game is about taking points, helping your team out to get your score up. Throw ammo, med packs, repair ****...recon add beacons spot. To learn vechs head to an empty server and toy around and cap points...even with a heli. Learn maps, and dont worry to much about you KD rather your overall points.

To level up weapons head to a conquest metro server...or just head to metro. (avoid the middle unless youre on D.

Have fun also remember you canz esplode walls etc.

On an old GTX275 paired with a i7920, BF3 is more than playable (40-50fps) at medium-high on a 1600x900 screen.

As for tips- don't stand still. If you're sniping, don't stay in one spot too long.

For the PC, try to find a sensitivity that works well for you. You can easily overshoot targets if you twitch a little too much. There is no aim assistance.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Good luck!
