Added ~15% HP to them all this morning, probably won't be on TQ until after the summer though.

Because 15% felt like a nice compromise between "make them obviously better than RRT" and "don't make them so powerful they significantly change the balance of the game", pretty much.

OMGAWD!

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Are you not pushing a bunch of module changes at once so there is enough time to scrutinize the brand new modules? Why cant these be shoved in?

I'd like to suggest that you also reduce the mass addition to only a little bit more than meta4, for those of us armor tankers (gallente) who care about speed.

At the moment T2 plates are 36% heavier than meta4 plates.
I think it would be more reasonable if they were between 10% and 20% heavier.

Why the hell only after the summer? Why not change those few stats, ship the new plates with Inferno and if it doesn't work out just iterate on them after the summer.

Because there's not quite enough buffer-tanking in game already? LolRoll

Good god CCP, in F&I Ytterbium is talking about how to rebalance the game away from HP buffers and to make active tanks more useful. Then you come in with an idea that has exactly the opposite effect. Lol

Not to mention that the biggest beneficiaries of this will be BS, even though BS are already massively skewed towards armour buffers anyway.

There's plenty of T2 modules that offer no advantage over best-named, except for being manufacturable. If you really want to make T2 plates more useful without affecting the metagame, then don't add HP to T2 plates, remove HP from T1 and named plates instead.

ATX. buffing tanks so much before a tournament could possible wreck havoc.

While you're at it how about nano, CPR, SPR, I-stab, SeBo, cap flux coils, micro aux, MLU.... and many other modules that have better meta 4 counter part than t2.

So... 15% buff this morning, yet we won't get the change until after the summer?

Seems someone didn't read the last part, since they are already trying to manipulate the 1600mm T2 plate in Jita.

Oh dear. You are quite wrong, it will benefit t3s and t2 cruisers/bcs the most (its in the resists). Yes even with the tighter fitting. Doubly so once you consider the bs are hurt by the mass more (hello bombers)

Is it generally the idea that T2 be "better" with the trade off of proportionally higher fitting requirements or cap use? And any thought to taking a looks at some of the other mods that don't have advantages with their T2 versions over meta 4?
