Wormholes

On the verge of quiting eve hitting the redundancy mark where everything got boring.. I Decided as a last resort I would find an occupy a wormhole as ive never been in one. It took me 3 days jumping from system to system in my buzzard scanning down only occupied wormholes when finally I discovered the "WORMHOLE CHANNEL" Dun DUn Dun...it only took but a couple hours in that channel when another noobie wholer shouted out for help in a c2 he couldnt tank the sites in his navy vexor so im thinking navy vexor no way im in over my head sleepers require fleets I cant do them solo, so without thinking not caring if it was a trap or not I rushed on over only to discover that had poped and died... and my first thoughts are wow how amazing finally a challenge then not he was popped on the entrance to highsec inside the wh apparently he was sitting their afk and to my amusement he had this fit.http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/killmail.php?id=16356539

After that note I lounged around the wh even though it was occupied no one seemed to be in I scanned down another c1 since it was a c2/hs/c1 static.. it had over 40 sites so ran on ts3 told some old friends help me put up a pos and bam within 2 hrs I was set up with a mini medium pos all guns and an array logged in my alt put together a nighthawk and I was on my way... c1 sites nom nom nom... at this point your probably think ing of what kinda noob I am and yeah I can agree pretty noob move but nothing happend that day I was 200mill richer with all the salvage from like 4 - 6 sites I couldnt belive it. I spent my whole eve career doing sanctums and Incursions and it was this easy I can run solo like this forever. well soon after that was well and done I went to sleep.

Ahhhh... ITS MORNING! TIme to farm some more log on to eve have my coffee pet my dogs why its loading up no mails about my pos being attacked life is good!. Load up the nighthawk and off I went like a kid in the candy store plucking all the good stuff from the self when all of a sudden theirs whispers in local chat "Hey MR. NightHawk Dont mind Us keep farming". at that point any normal pilot would of packed up like a black man running from and ex about child support( I can say that cuz im black) anyways nope I Didnt!. I STAYED! like a champ im gonna get mines and nobody can stop me. Done with my first sight I warp to a safe I made when I came in log in my alt noctis and a salvaging I Shall go "Oh Life Is Good".. WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN! RED FLICKERS AND FLASHING! oh no my main Nighthawk is webbed scrammed etc by a Stealth Bomber.. oh no a tengu align align afterburner check overheat check fire missiles check... he's warped oh no hurricane and command ship raise the flag im done spam warp away!!! at this point im happy cuz i usually get away in my pod when all of a sudden I hit a wall of lag as my ship goes tumbling down my pod is wished away at the press of a commandshipos F1 Button back in villore i am with minus one nighthawk and a 500mill pod with +5's.. you may be thinking hes dumb +5 implants... ive had those babies in since i started playing ive been caught in bubbles tackled and saved by interceptors escaped the impossible but this faithful day I did not succeed.

After the skirmish I raced backed to my wh because I scaned out my HS exit and other stuff like every wholer should and their I sat happily I entered the gentlemens channle the got me. I had nothing to say but congradulate them on the kill I have never been caught with so much excitement that put me back on my toes I was a paranoid solo wholer with no where to run and then I discovered my flaw!.. The gentlemen informed me that I Didnt warp to safe that infact I had warped to the sun on accident and I was baffled just dumbfounded on how ******** I was..through our conversation I learned alot but apparently not enough.

A few hours later on ts3 I invited a friend over to my wh to do a plex that just spawned in my class 2 the only plex ive seen in 2 days in here I had another pvp nighthawk witch I converted to PVE.. (Ibrought extra Mods in my array) when he arrived we were off to the plex nothing on scan but good old isk logged on the alt and cloaked my noctis... his first time in a wh also but we both knew to spam scan button.... on our last spawn battleship sleeper.. (Yelling!!!) TENGU TENGU!! DECTAL GET OUT!... IM OUT OF POSITION **** HE GOT ME!! He aligns and we fire upon then cloaky tengu with me pointed scanner started lighting up I coldnt even count how many ships all I remeber was a hurricane and myself another tengu nothing but floating debris as I warped my pod away sadly... The gentlemen of Spaceland Consortium had afk scouts in my system with there wh connecting to the adjacent C1 I got caught in earlyer

After a long delightful talk/walkthrough of the gentleman im not naming.. basicly a ingame chat/guide of questions, ifs and whatnot he logged i stayed on contemplating my next move witch was obvious my 2nd/last day of the wormhole I pack up and leave.... waving my white flag with all signs of defeat written across my mastodon.

I now come to the conclusion that wh's are soloable if played right and having extensive knowledge of wormholes. but for someone who thinks they can pick up and play has a 50/50% chance of survivable but me losing over half a bill was beyond my wallet.....

So Now im in search of decent corps/Alliance to Discover the ways of this mystic force in wormholes and conquer it another time when I live, learn and grow with my next brotherhood. Forever loving the NON Local intel.. All DScan Love And Sleeper loot.

tl;dr... only because bold hurts my eyes.

if you're in a radar/magsite, keep scanning for probes and combat ships, if you've got multiple characters, then scan for new signatures that might indicate a k162 wormhole :)

welcome to wh space :) you might want to check the notable wh corp/alliances thread and see if you can join one of them :) it will make the learning curve much more manageble

Thx man there was a time where I was paranoid/rage/cryed when i lost a cruiser or frigate.. but as time went on ive learned Ships will be lost and can be replaced but you will always get ur insuarnce so i started flying T2 and faction stuff. ^_^ they are still my babies thought, I just learned not to be too attached and learn from every experience I can to make my eve experience better and if it doesnt make you feel better just run back in f1-4 drones out and burn them all to hell lol.

Thx everyone for the support and motivation, At the I'm trying to get into "Transmission lost/Kairs Corps" Although ive been hearing their recruitment is quite extensive and excruciating ill try to stick with it because allot of the positive feed back Im getting about them.. even though they are really quiet in pub.. ^_^.. if it doesn't work out I'm still probing so hopefully I find a vacant wormhole and try soloing again.

They should be looking forward to it..the tengu fills soo many roles in a fleet one of the best t3's all they gotta do is play safe stay grouped and not get caught...any other time solo etc fly a drake lol
